You aren't kidding. The funniest part of it all was, I looked at the woman, and the bust she wanted to look like after they were all done and she was healed and ready to flaunt it.....she looked NOTHING like it!
 
Not literally of course.

Probably the Chronos's part where Zeus castrates him actually represents some ruling family being de-thronized by palace's stewards - not unlike what happened a lot of time in past history [like Carolingian kings taking the crown from Merovingian kings, for example].

Same goes for Spartoi being sown in ground: myth doesn't mean they actually used teeth or seeds to get magic warriors - but more probably they killed all heirs to the throne and got the wives to start a new dynasty.

Yet, myth can be useful nevertheless - Troy was found thanks to Schliemann actually believing homeric tales.

So, in myth there's probably an ounce of truth, wrapped in ton of fantasy and pure storytelling.

Yeah, I like to find the truths of it occasionally, but too much in the myth world just ruins the fun of the myth!
 
I suppose I don't care too much for myth then... 🙂

I mostly see myth as a nice wrapping for plain facts.
I'm afraid I am not very romantic here. 😉

shh! plus it wasnt elephants..lmao..it was some dude that didnt exist and i already had 27 in me..and on the verge of alky poisioning..never drank like that again! never will! yes you are lady like, you are just crazy(which u get from me)and the donkeys were chasing tigers thru my back yard that i claimed earlier that nite for canada..i saw them while i was waiting for the sun to rise at 1 am...i honestly didnt remember this..friend had it all on video..damn i need to get a copy of that..
