*Slinks in.* o.o Unfortunately, most of the images on my computer are from this thread, so I don't really have much to contribute anymore, except for my own drawings which I'm not very confident in posting. So, here's three that I don't think have been posted before. One doesn't really add to what the thread is about, but it's a nice, festive (If somewhat lecherous) image from my favorite anime series, Inuyasha....

I really like that snow sculpture (the one on the right, of course... the other looks pre-melted)! Some very nice additions, Veemononnet! Thank you! And please don't be hesitant about contributing original artwork to the forum! I don't know that it would be right for this thread (which is devoted mostly to professional effort), but you could always open a new one! I'm sure everyone would be interested in viewing your pictures!

As for my drawings, it's not that I'm afraid of the response I'll get from people here - from what I've seen, everyone's very kind and helpful to anyone who posts. The advice that members such as yourself and Nessonite give is certainly helpful, even to those who don't post their own artwork - It's just that I'm nervous that perhaps people would take them and use them as if they created the characters themselves. I don't want to sound high and mighty, or like some sort of God or something, but my characters are all like...a part of me, if that makes sense. The thought of someone taking them and claiming them as their own scares me, and makes me just a little angry. I wouldn't think to steal someone elses hard work, but I know there are people out there who do just that with no remorse.

This may sound a little cheesey...but my childhood dream, and one that's always stayed with me is to make go somewhere with the stories and characters that are all of my own creation, all of their fates entwined. I want to get it published some day, maybe even in a manga, and hopefully I'll eventually be able to make an anime or something out of it. I would be perfectly content with making a novel series out of it, but I like to strive for all I can hope to achieve. I hope this doesn't make me sound conceited or arrogant, as that's far from what I'm trying to explain myself as - I know I have a long way to go as far as my writing and drawing skills are concerned, but I know that practicing both is essential.
