ILove, is there ANY limit to your images? Normally the title of "picture *****" goes to HDS but you've domintaed several picture threads now. XD

Alex...one of those is my new very favorite Sakura image. Or at least very close to it (my previous favorite being one of the ones where she's leaping in the air with her inline skates). Which one I'm talking about I'm not gonna say (here) though. xp

lol. Actually, there is a limit to what I've got. In fact, I'm starting to run out. Not that I don't still have quite a few, mind... But what makes me wonder is when I run out of pics, if the threads will dry up and blow away.... :weird:

Actually, what I'd like to know, IL2T and HDS, is how big are your hard drives? As many pictures as you guys put out here, you must have something on par with the computer on the Enterprise or something. Not that I'm complaining in the least though 😀

Well, I've got a 40 GB hard drive, of which 1.05 GB is anime pics, and almost a gig in hentai pics and games.

Not to fear. HDS can keep Anime Chicks alive with images for essentially forever. XD I download more images in a few hours from all over the web than I post here in a week.

The primary internal one be 160 GB, with two main depositories of images. The first, the primary one, is mostly sorted and consists of 3141 folders containing 107166 files (Of which a shade over 100,000 are images, roughly) for a total of 43.6 GB The second, my temporary folder that holds all new images while I reorg the main archive, consists of 274 folders containing 18,639 files (Nearly all images) for a total of 5.42 GB.

The next computer (Possibly an acquisition for the early summer) will likely need upwards of a TB of storage. Were I not constrained by the fact that I've already used almost 3/4ths of this drive between files and programs, I'd be downloading far more than I do. I'll know I have too much when I forget where everything is. Right now, I still can recognize most any image I have and place where I have it. WHo knows how long that will last, though. 😛

HDS: I noticed that Nessie was accessing your files that you'd uploaded. Is there a free FTP program I could use to look through the stuff you've uploaded as well? I couldn't d/l all the stuff you have on your hard drive. If I tried, my computer would detonate! @.@;;

There are many. I personally like SmartFTP, others I've seen and heard good things about are CuteFTP, WS_FTP, and the firefox extension client FireFTP.

Bah. You all need larger Hard Disks. 😀

I must start cataloging these in photoshop album...would make my life so much easier.

EDIT: Personally I use an aaaaancient version of wsftp. I never needed anything fancy in an ftp program. It does it's thing with little fuss.

I echo your sentiments. HDS needs to grab Picasa again or find where I stashed Alubum before the archives become to large for any amount of categorizing.

160 GBs? Sweet holy mother of all that's sweet and holy! That's a lot :wooha: Mine's only 127 GBs. *My mind wanders back to the days of the dinosaurs, when I had an ancient 286*

I'm such a slacker...my anime images take up probably just under a gig and contains about 4,700 files.

My own drawings (not counting psd files) are a paltry 430 images (not counting psd files) and around 50 megs.

god...I don't even seperate by fanart or official art. My Azumanga folder is the only one that's even seperated somewhat (those folders being animated, xxx, screenshots, and Yotsuba, which doesn't even belong there).
