It's a sequal that takes place some time after FFVII:AC, that has Vincent as the main character.

As for Dirge of Cerberus, it takes place three years after Final Fantasy VII, or one year after Advent Children. It centers around the Deepground soldiers, people genetically manipulated by Shinra back in the days of the old president, to be this superhuman army. They're freed from their prison in the depths of the Shinra building and go on a rampage. Their plans center around finding Vincent, but I won't spoil it as to what they're looking for. So far, I've played it, and it's definitely worth checking out. It's not an RPG, so if you know that right off the bat, and don't expect it to be one, treating it as its own game, it's really good. 😀
