I did my level best! Even researched a few game websites in hopes of finding the titles I didn't know. My failure comes not from want of effort, but from narrowness of knowledge. I, for one, have followed this exercise with interest and enjoyed the cookies I've received so far!

Okay, okay, I get it. But I'm surprised no one at least got the gimme!

From left to right:

1. Tales of Phantasia. This one was the challenge round, this game was never brought to the United States. It also, along with Star Ocean was one of the first SNES games to try incorporating voices into the action.

2. Metal Gear. That's right, the original for the NES. This one would have been recognizable to an old-timer or someone who was a fan of the Metal Gear Solid games that were released for Playstation.

3. Final Fantasy VI (III). Released as the third Final Fantasy in the USA, this was the one I expected at least someone to pick up. Guess my expectations were off! ^-^;

4. Final Fight 3. Middle-of-the-road. Not entirely well known, but a game you might have seen in an arcade or something. It's a standard side-scrolling fight game.

Oh buttermilk! i should have recongnized Metal Gear. I thought that "Cardboard" classification looked familiar! I owned the game, but didn' t play it much. Never could get the hang of it.

Metal Gear is really tough. I couldn't beat it either.

I can't say I'm surprised. The discussion and extras here evolve. It has to be more interesting to follow. Plus, pretty anime girls frequently show up!

To which end, here's an anime girl sculpture from my harem. I know pictures are the usual fare, but I don't have many, none that I didn't get here. If this goes over well, I'll see what I can do to photograph a few more.

She was given to me as a gift. We've come to call her the "Octopus Girl", for obvious reasons:

A question for you, Jaynin: are the game screenshots you present collected, or do you actually have all the systems necessary for active play (either way, it's impressive)? I ask because you're always so quick with relevant data when called upon.

To answer your question, LBH, it's a mixture. I have the regular NES and SNES systems to play the games on, and in many cases I do have the games I screenshot. But they're old and they deteriorate, so to play most of them now I use NES and SNES emulators on my computer (which makes for easy screenshotting.) Although, some games were never released in the USA, so the only way to play them is to get them on an emulator.

I wish I could say I agreed with you. Unfortunately, I've never seen Bleach. I would really like to, though. Plus, Rukia's cute ^_^

I like that image for the same reason you do, LBH. I have some more, though...they're magazine scans XD.

Still, they're fairly recent (Less then a week old) and I think Jaynin in particular would enjoy knowing about Makai Senki Disgaea 2, unless he found out about it when the info was released like I did 😵.
