Why do different races and ethnicities laugh differently?

Addendum. Personally, I’m skeptical about laughter being influenced by accent as well, because if we assume that to be a thing then we should also find different laughters at different latitudes within the same country.

I don’t know how it works outside, but here in Italy you can find different accents by simply move for 50km.

I don't really watch too many foreign tickling producers, but the few I have watched, I couldn't tell the difference between their lees' laughter and the lees laughter here in my native country, the US.

I just read this whole thread... my answer is..... it's.... tickling. Just, you know, enjoy the opportunity. Cherish it, even. If someone gives you a wild one, if they're open to it, get it out of your system. They laugh differently because they're different people.

Likewise. On a number of occasions I've seen a clip randomly and didn't realize it wasn't American until someone spoke in another language. Likewise in the many Canelli clips, most of the women are Italian, but there are several with French or American people... and you can't tell unless they say something.

Spoken as if George Castanza himself were a TMF member! Well done, my goodman!

Very true, there still so much variety even within a small area. The reason I brought up accents is that (I think) it’s the only logical explanation why people like OP would try to equate different laughs with skin colour and/or ethnicity. Otherwise, it’s bordering on the racist “X race is more ticklish than Y race and therefore better!” nonsense that we see all the time. Even when debunked, delusional men are still hellbent on claiming their preference is better and that it’s somehow “a fact”.
