Why Do You Love Us English?

We don't, we love barely beating you at rugby.

Edit: Minor adjustment to make his previous statement true. 😉

I'd say I like Brits because...

Mr Bean. he's...Magic.

I mean Queen Elizabeth is doing an awesome job running their country!

Someone's a little "uncultured", aren't they? 😉
The Queen doesn't have nearly as much power as some of her Ancestors. It's the parliament that have power in our Country. 😛

I love administrative power, btw. 😛

I have to say, even though I'm Welsh, I still think the Queen is amazing. XD It's so cool to live in a country that still has a Royal Family.

Hey guys i've noticed that Americans love us English our accents , culture , history and our sense of humour , What i wanna know is why ?

excellent point! growing up, the best history happened in England, from the Crusades, and past WW2, England is just fascinating, even if we called you enemies for some time etc. i just love the accent, too. i know i just love my TickleBug's voice, just like she goes head over heels for my sweet southern charm.

funny you should mention this as i've been doing alotta homework about Great Britain lately.

Being English is ok but London sucks!
It's waaaay too far away from my other half 🙁

*shakes fist at the Atlantic Ocean* i heard that but London is far better than Florida.

it's so easy being a Weather man here. *walks up* "It's Hot! back to you!" *walks away*

crumpets are ok but scones are better cheese scones rock 😉

meh. Chedda makes it all Betta, is my motto.

And when you stop and think about it, it's not "Mediocre" or "Ho-Hum" Britain...it's GREAT Britain! There's so much to love!

Curse you Atlantic Ocean, keeping our friends from snuggiling (and tickling) our loved ones...but revenge shall be ours!

...as soon as we figure out how to get it that is...

...er...DOOOOOOOOOM! ^_~

Well, Florida's not all bad. Just backasswards. It's quite comfortable where I'm at, and I know that's not necessarily the case for many Theater-goers at this juncture of the Winter months. Later this year, as it becomes temperate where they are, it will be hot and jungle-humid like you wouldn't believe where I am. :reddevil:

If only there were a place that shuffled the two into one happy vacation destination: Visit the sunny Tower of Flondon, or the foggy beaches of Lorida!

Sunny Tower of Flondon

Is that by any chance also called "orange tower". If so, please tell me they've put protections from people being hung off the outside viewing balcony.

Indeed. These days it's just out-of-work theater-players. 😉 Nonetheless, they get the best tans.

foggy and rainy london sounds like a godsend from humidity and high heat. i love the cold.

my last vacation, i walked the streets of Pennsylvania in 10 degree with in my shorts and short sleeve shirt as i danced. and no, i was not locked away in a looney bin for it. that came LATER. :rolleyes

I'd kill for occasional snow and more cool fronts, Florida is hot as hell most of the year...I've visited the north every once in a while and I thought the weather was perfect to stroll around aimlessly, so I sympathize with Norm here XP I can only imagine the weather in England is just right for my taste.

Amen my Florida brother!

Florida's nice to visit, not to live.

Forgive me but I find no humor in your statement. No offense meant to ya...it's just I had a traumatic experience at Orange Tower in Florida during a high school trip vacation to Florida (aka two girl bullies nearly pushed me off the concrete balcony at the top of the tower and there was NO SAFETY MEASURES in place to help save me if I had fallen off). I've been afraid of heights ever since.

Why do I love the english?

I like that they decided to take fried potatoes, and put it on the side of batter fried whitefish. And then they added a mug of beer on the side.

hell yeah fish and chips the proper english food :} , kebabs are better 😉

Not only do I love the accent, but they also have bangers and mash. Plus a very beautiful Brittish lady calls me her cheeky monkey.:blush
