Why Tickle With a Feather?

Re: Why tickle with a feather?

1. Because your electric toothbrush is in the shop.

2. Because you've been a victim of "The Hairbrush Burglar".

3. Because you have a fingernail disease communicable by touch.

4. Because you are trapped on a dessert island with only Elizabeth
Hurley and a chicken.

I agree with QBWeaver that stiffer feathers are more effective for tickling...but you'd never get anyone to tell you their PIN number for their ATM Card with a feather!!!!

Other than that, feathers are for show because they are symbolic of tickling.

LOL!!!

And yet, my mind immediately races to tickling whenever I see a feather. Someone on the escalator ahead of me was carrying a very long stiff peacock feather the other day, and I just could not shake the thought of "y'know, me, that feather, and Sarah Michelle Gellar . . . I could have me a lot of fun" 😀

Reminds me of a dream I had: I "wake up" and find myself tied to the bed..and who's straddling my waiste? None other than Gellar herself. She's wearing that same sexy outfit she wore in the Milk ad photo and starts digging into my sides with those nails of hers. All I can say about that dream is...."Damnit, I HATE my alarm clock!!" lol

i know this is an old thread, so plz 4give me. but when i found this, i wanted to voice my own opinions.

well, i wouldn't say "opinions". more like "agreements"
1. it does indeed depend on the lee. Feathers r my fav tickle-tool, but when i try them on myself (no crap about "u can't tickle u'rself", cuz i actually CAN just a little bit), it's just plesant and tingly. I wanna b feather-ticklish >_<
2. it does indeed depend on the feather. if u'r using, say, a big fluffy feather that u would put in a colonial or pirate's hat or sumthing, u could BARELY feel it. But try going for more stiffer ones. Different feathers have differnt stiffness and softness at the same time. Aquiring good feathers is the tricky bit. Most feathers u find just lying on the ground are either small or filthy or they just dun work. Try buying a quille pen. Or, my local art store sells different colored feathers used when wiping away eraser bits and stuff.
3. It's indeed true that feathers are symbolic to tickingu see it all the time in cartoons like TMNT and Digimon. Particularly in the case of torture scenes. When is was real little and i saw the TMNT scenes, i remember thinking to myself "why does he use a feather instead of his fingers?" Back then i came to the conclusion that sinc he's a mob boss, and he's torturing them not having fun with them, he'd rather use a tool rather than "get his hands dirty", so to speak. As for what tool, it just wouldn't look right if the bad guy uses, say, a toothbrush (i brush my teeth with that thing! i'm not using that!) or sumthing like that probably wouldn't look right visually. A feather would. A feather is simple, not manmade, and has a certain gracefullness to it that just makes it look like it was MADE for tickling. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. if only everyone were as feather-ticklish as cartoon characters >_<

Long-live the feather! The universal tool!

first i want to congrat emsee..as you pulled a thread from 2 and a half years ago up outta the dead! 😛 id like to say, ill tickle with anything i can!

How do I sign up for this field trip?
Wait... Dessert Island? Hmmmm... chocolate mousse between the toes, anyone? Maybe a hot fudge bellybutton sundae? Champagne & strawberry Ribs? Mmmmmmmmmmm... this island is sounding better and better! Where's Mr. Roarke?

Hey now, THERE'S a theory that bears further testing! Any volunteers? 😉

And yeah, I tend to agree... it's the IDEA behind it that makes it so alluring... the precious look on their face when they see you coming at them with the dreaded feather... 😱 "Oh no he's coming to get me he's coming to get me HE'S COMING TO GET ME NO NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOO!!!" Yummmmmmmmmmmm! 😀

See, this depends on the 'ler. With someone I *know* is skilled (like our Danimal) I'd likely have such thoughts of impending doom, but otherwise I know I'd be thinking "RATS, he's a rookie, darn it, well maybe he'll stand where I can still see tv..."🙄

Feathers are certainly useful for A) very sensitive 'lees and B) sensual tickling in general. Excellent scene starters. But I agree that they can be an annoying stereotype, I'm frankly reluctant to use then in my videos and I NEVER buy a video if they're using a feather or featherduster on the box. That always, ALWAYS meant disappointment when I first began purchasing such things. Along with guys in flourescent boxers :sowrong:

I agree with others here that feathers can tickle but it depends on:

1)the lee: I did not think a stiff feather would tickle my soles until someone tried it and I screamed. Surprize. Surprise.

2) the technique: even feather dusters can tickle really ticklish people. Dabbing them up and down and swirling them are ticklish to me on my most sensitive areas.

Dude, if I EVER see you a video cover dressed like that-or ANY video cover dressed ANY way-I'm calling an emergency NEST and declaring national "wow, seriously?" day :wow: :rotate: :wowzer:

Hee! :blaugh: Ummm, wait... we can DO that? (looks around on desk for The Red Phone or The Button) I musta missed a meeting! Hell, I'd be callin' emergency NESTs like once a month! Maybe that's why nobody told me about the meeting! Hmmm! 🙄

It's early morning and I'm still a bit groggy so I may have missed it... but has anyone tried using a feather boa? I use one on my tickle ladies and they swoon with delight! I use one that's about four feet long. If you dangle it just so on the tops of the feet, pleasure is sure to be had. If she's topless, glide the feather boa from her neck down over her breasts, over the abdomen, then her pleasure box, down her legs and finally you'll be at her feet. Do it sloooooowly as it sends chills of ecstasy all throughout her body... A single feather doesn't seem to do much for them, based on my observation.
