I'm always a little puzzled when I see feathers and featherdusters used in tickling videos and stills. Feathers have practically become synonymous with tickling, as I'm sure most people here know.
This surprises me because, in my experience, feathers don't tickle.
Oh, sure, you can poke or scratch with the stiff quill end. But the "feathery" end produces hardly any sensation at all, as near as I can tell.
Am I just using them wrong, or have others found this as well?
