No T8. I don't think Ignis drops any T8 - if he does it's a random chance. Just the Watchers (Freya, Hodir, Thorim, Mimiron) and Yogg. Not positive though.

So far mostly tank gear is dropping - a few really nice cloth pieces, but did I win??? Of course not! RNG ftl.
 
Yeah, killed Ignis and Assembly of Iron last night, first night of attempts on those bosses in Ulduar-10. I will say that the Iron Council fight is intense: maybe it was due to our DPS or the constant running during Brundir as the last boss because of his Lightning Tendrils, but the fight went almost 15 minutes from initial pull to Brundir's death, even with a Heroism. Longest fight I think I've been involved in throughout WoW.

I have to say that the one thing that bugs me about Ulduar is that the trash is frickin' epic. It's like you're fighting mini-bosses throughout the entire instance and it gets really tiresome. Those Watchers before Kologarn have over 1 million HP each; it's like a Prince fight from Kara every time.
 
lol longest fight for us was a heigen the unclean (safety dance) kill. 25 minutes. One tank, one healer (me) and one dps - everyone else was dead. He has no hard enrage so the three of us just wore him down.

I hear you on the trash. The ones that spit out flame tornadoes at Ignis just suck ass.

We have only made one attempt on the Assembly. It was late and we just wanted to see how it went. I missed the very first dispel, lol, so it was over pretty quick. But hopefully we will get them down when we go back on Monday.

I recently created an undead warlock on the Duskwood server, named Vonrictus. I must say, horde players seem a LOT nicer than the Alliance. After being completely confused by the Undercity layout, I got on the trade channel and actually said: "LF the exit to Undercity. No joke! I have no idea how I got down here!" Somebody was kind enough to show me around, and gave me 10 gold to get me started! Now, I think the Undercity layout is more convenient and understandable than Stormwind.

It's also fun playing a low-level again, this time utilizing Quest Helper, Auctioneer, and Cartographer, which makes things go a LOT faster. I'm kind of at a stand-still with my Alliance pally, stuck at level 61, since all my quests involve dungeons that I can never find the time to find a group and commit to, and I need Stratholme holy water for me epic mount quests! :banghead: Frustrating! Oh well. I didn't think I'd be able to play a non-healing class, but I had no idea warlocks and undead could be so fun to play! I've got a minion to tank for me, while I use affliction spells to drain the heck outta all enemies. Also, I can cannibalize corpses to regain hit points, and create soulstones to res myself! Who needs paladins?? j/k 😛

I started with an Ally char too and when i created a Horde char i noticed how much nicer the horde players were, I think its just mostly kids and noobs play ally, where most of the veteran and older players go horde, plus horde seem far more organised in bg's since we always seem to annihilate ally ^^

Also you do know you dont need to do the quest chains for pally/lock epic mounts anymore? you can learn the ability at 61 i think

Kids and noobs, eh? 2100 rated 2s last season, 1900 rated 3s this season, can't call this Ally a noob. My paladin has seen 40K dead Horde and there will be plenty more Blood Elves crying for their husbands by the time my paladin retires. ;p

Really though, it depends on the server and you can't judge a faction of 5 million people (approx.) by fleeting encounters on one particular server. BG ratios are dependent on the BG as well, on Emberstorm, we dominate the 80 bracket usually. 429 BGs played since achieve tracking, and 371 wins, spread across all 5 BGs, not too bad if I may say so myself.

TL;DR: Both factions are the same and depend on the server and battlegroup, talk bad about all the Alliance everywhere and you'll have a Flawless Victor human paladin on your butt. =p
 
I didnt say all ally were kids and noobs and i didnt say it was fact either :console:

But from my time on several servers the alliance gets more of the first timers and kids on and it shows in trade chat and in groups for instances. I've never had nearly as much bother with horde, thats not to say that there isnt noobs and kids on the horde side.

I wasnt doubting your skill or saying that all alliance suck though so dont take it personally 😀
 
i just think its awesome that no matter what server your on no matter what type of server the second you go into the barrens all you see is chuck norris jokes thats pretty awesome in its own right

I originally thought that's how I was going to get the epic mount, but if you look at the ability for summon charger, I think one of the prerequisites is that you have the soul of the charger, which you acquire from the quest. I could be wrong, and I hope I am! I haven't played my paladin in a few weeks because of my frustrations.
 
My main is on Korgath, but don't look for me on there anytime soon. I'm taking an indefinite leave of absence from WoW. (I don't even have WotLK yet.)

Maybe I'll come back when I get my new PC...

I've deleted Delsenoro. I got some really bad advance on character development, so I made Richurudu my new main.

Richurudu is now 68th level. Devudu is now 17th.

And Richurudu has a new alt: Guerrieaux, 17th level dwarven warrior.
 
Still hanging out on Moon Guard, Alliance-side, with one alt on Wyrmrest Accord to check out the RP there. Anyone else RP? Could have a little fun. =p
 
hard to believe wow is still such a huge draw. I grew up with games like UO and EQ, wow just didn't hold my interest for more than a couple of weeks... it's like playing an MMO on perma-easy mode. Not challenging whatsoever.
 
Because camping a spot for days on end is so very challenging, lol. Big Frustrating Time Sink doesn't equal challenging to me. Of course you do have to play more than a few weeks to get to the challenging parts.

I think WoW has such a huge draw because they have hit the right balance. You pick your challenges and the pace. There are so many ways to play the game - there is truly something for everyone - even the old school grind fests.

The only thing WoW got wrong is pvp, imo. Warhammer did a better job, but the pve aspect suffered a lot.
