Worst songs ever

How could I have forgotten "Who Let The Dogs Out" or "The Macarena"?

Purely evil.:sowrong:

Anyone who has children has a whole list of hated songs. Top of the list for me are "The Barney Song" and "It's A Small World".

Other special hates are "MacArthur Park", "Yummy Yummy Yummy I've Got Love In My Tummy", "Seasons in the Sun", the whole score to "Rocky Horror", most pop Xmas* tunes, and all rap.

Strelnikov

*Christmas is a religious holiday that you spend with your family. Xmas is all of the awful bullshit designed to enrich Chinese toy manufacturers and Jewish merchants.

Blimey strell!

Jewish merchants? what are you after? another "cristal nacht"?

Did I mention that I hate every Christmas song ever made? Except for "Christmas at Ground Zero" of course.

blankpage, you don't know what you've started. "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Pinball Wizard" are two of the best songs out there! What are you smoking?!? Have you been living under a rock for the past 30 years? Anyone who can beat up on Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Who needs to have their (insert bodypart) cut off and thrown in an incinerator!

dude

And another thing! Queen kicks ass! I have "We are the champions" on a CD my friend burned for me repeated 9 TIMES! Humph! :Grrr:

As a former radio disc jockey (please hold your applause) I can name the single worst song ever put on vynal (remember vynal kids?)

It's so bad I can't remember who recorded it or the name!!!

It was a '45 that used the actual tape of some space mission with the command module reporting back to houston and so forth...all placed to some horrible mid 70's moog music. Too bad for words!

I used the insturmental onthe other side (!) as a back ground for some poorly worded and horrible acted skits I wrote for the show.

I still have the 45 in my collection (I borrowed it from the station when I quit back in the mid-90's 😀 )

<shudders> Horrible...HORRIBLE song!

LOL!

~ toyou

Oh, and ANYTHING that William Shatner or Leonard Nimoy put on vinyl. Yes, I remember vinyl.😎

I actually have the greatest hits of William Shatner, including one of him singing "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". It's even more painful than it sounds. I myself have never brought myself to listen to the whole thing.

However, I believe Wesley Willis deserves mention here. Is anyone familiar with such songs as, "I Whupped Batman's Ass"? However, this is in the realm of things that are so bad, they're almost good.

Minnie Ripperton, "Loving You"

It's that annoying song on the check card commercial (if you want to write a check for who let the dogs out...).

Steve 🙂

I agree with dudetheguy. The Who and Lynyrd Skynyrd rock, dont be bashing on them. But it seems that i alone get to defend Seasons in the Sun and Timothy.
Seasons in the Sun was a great song, and a true story about Terry Jacks dying of cancer.
Timothy was a great song too, with a pretty funny/demented story.

Now for crap:
Any Rap, Wannabe half rock half rap, pop, any country music made after 1965, New Wave, Disco, and a lot of the Modern Heavy Metal.

Specifically i hate the Carpenters and ABBA.

C'mon Folks, Where's your sense of humor? The William Shatner stuff is hysterical! Especially his version of "Mr. Tamborine Man". Where can I find that greatest hits collection?

Drew

ps: Leonard Nimoy does a cool "If I were a Carpenter"
