Would you date people if you knew time was getting short?

By the way, I realize that my figure of a hundred thousand has gone up since the last time I expressed this opinion and merely said it was a thousand times better. It's approaching infinity asymptotically. LOL

Now I call that progress. One thing I find myself wondering: Is "Not there, THERE!" anywhere near Boston?

Not sure I understand this. Is Maniac thought to be working on short time due to the possibility of self-immolation ..... or spontaneous combustion,.... should Obama win a second term? And as a follow-up question,.... may we bring marshmallows?

(Y'know, Maniac,.... I lived in Boston when you were in elementary school.)

Nah. I don't do well bouncing around. I can only really focus on one person at a time, and if it's one person that I don't think it's going to work out with I really don't even want to bother. I'd rather be single and continue to find love, companionship and fulfillment in my friends and family than waste time dating. All the effort that goes into a relationship is really just a huge burden to me if the guy isn't damn near perfect. I'd rather be picky and wait longer than throw out a huge net and have to deal with whatever I drag in.

Nah, I'm way out in little ol' Michigan. But I do make my way around a few states with the gatherings I have attended. Cutting back though, don't know if I'll be making any this year with work. 🙂

I will add to the OP, I feel like the question stems from a profound sense of loneliness...or at least a longing for companionship. I think we've all been there...until we have someone in front of us that we no longer want and then go, "Now what...?" Just one of those things you gotta tough out if you're waiting for the good stuff, I guess.

The "one". I think it's an illusion. A fairy tale. I look for Miss compatible. Someone I can have fun with. If I were 30 years older that would still be the same criteria. Can we have fun? Will she limit my fun? Do I have more fun with her? Is she the most fun girl for me around? If the answers are yes/no/yes/yes then hell I think we have a match!

soilmate.....I dig that.

You have a paid plane ticket to Boston waiting for you at any time.

How do you define time getting short? Do you mean a woman worried she won't have kids or a 70 year old with a family hostory of heart disease?
