Armored cars. As far as APC's............Mostly half tracks. I did an M113 flamethrower some years back.

When I was in the USAF I handled prop & wing deicers, maybe that was what they needed for that bridge. We have lots of cable suspension bridges up North, but I never heard of that problem.
