we're running some tests on different bitrates.
please download this 4 second (yes i said 4 seconds) video clip and tell me:

1) if you were able to download it
2) if it played smoothly on your computer
3) what did you think of the picture size and clarity?

it played smoothly but there was some horizontal interference which you don't usually get with WMVs. i'm running Win XP, 1024*768 with a 3d graphics card just so you know. picture was nice and large though.

i think another clip is required just to be sure!

played pretty good for me, picture was fairly clear for a large size window...

Downloaded fine (it was a forum attachment after all ); played smoothly in WMP9, Winamp 5 and DivX Player - for some reason RealOne Player 2 required an additional WMV9 codec download that the other players didn't need, played OK once after that then crashed the computer

The res was nice but there was very noticeable interlacing. Was this captured from tape? You could cut the sound down to mono to save extra space too, I doubt stereo is really necessary

i wanted to do it longer but... attachments can only be up to 2MB here (am i right?)

Both these clips played beautifully for me. No fuzziness, great sound and video. Looks like another winner, by the way.

Large Tests OK

TC, the tctestlarge clip (tc5300) had some fuzziness around the edges of both ladies, although the clarity was good for a large view. The tc5302largetest clip was crystal clear, great clarity, period.

I have a notebook Satellite with Celeron 700 and 16MB video card. The cuality is good but the image stops in to points (seg 3 and 5), the sounds is perfect. I am not sure if that is because I have and old computer an OS Win ME or is the file.

Good videos but next time, please do not be "pichirre" and give us at least 15 seg long videos

yeah, i'd venture to say its your system. 700 and 16mb is not enough "power" to play a vid clip that is 2300kbps. thanks for the feedback though. it's good to know which systems they wont work on.

Both worked great

The first time I played them, the video paused in 2 spots. Every time I played them after that (about 5 more times), they were fine.

The second clip (5302) was smoother and looked like it was better quality, but I'm not sure if that was just because there was less movement in the clip in general. . .
