I work from home most days, and my husband has tickled me in the house, so technically, yes I have been tickled in the work place lol

But when I do have to go to meetings or if I am traveling for work, no, I have not been tickled and I have not tickled anyone either.

When I was 15-18, I worked at a boat tour company that hired foreign workers for the summer. We usually all got pretty close over the season - not best friends, but it was usually a decent group. Occasionally there was teasing pokes if there was nobody in the store. There was one Russian guy in particular that loved poking me when he walked by me (not when anyone was around) and I got him back a few times haha. Teenage flirting.

Now I work with family, and my husband and I often work together. Sometime we'll tickle each other if nobody is around, but we're always very careful. I wouldn't do it in a place where customers could potentially see or hear.

I agree with the others in that for the most part, it's not really wise in the workplace - kind of depends on the circumstances, but it's always best to be careful, professional, and not push people's boundaries.

Exactly. I think it's pretty common as a method of flirting, but the occurrences aren't nearly as drawn out or involved as people would like to think.

Everyone's lives are ruined forever because of tickling, and you are homeless, out on the street, over something harmless, don't do it! Like bellygirl88, I have had a few occasions where I have been on the receiving end of pokes and quick tickles.

But like teamtickleguy says, these have been with people I know outside of the workplace

I've only ever partaken in and/or witnessed tickling in the workplace between colleagues who socialise outside of the workplace and would consider themselves friends beyond their working relationship.

When I was in my early 20's I worked a retail job where we guys were always playing grab-ass with the girls, who played right back. Two ladies regularly tickled the hell out of me; another, really gorgeous one kept at me throughout an afternoon, then never again (darn it). I must've tickled at least a dozen girls during my time there, nearly all of whom reciprocated. Lotsa good times.

I went back to retail last year for the first time in 20 years, and times sure seem to have changed. I'm too old now to flirt with the young-uns, but the people half my age apparently observe a hands off policy at all times. I can't remember one instance flirting during my year there. A few couples hooked up there, but strictly on the down-low.
