So this morning when I tried to come to the site, I kept getting a blank white screen this message in the top left corner, "PHP 7.0.0 or newer is required. 5.6.40 does not meet this requirement. Please ask your host to upgrade PHP." I couldn't get to the site at all.

My laptop did need an update, and I did that. But after the update, I was still getting the same message for a while. Now all of a sudden, I can access the site no problem. I still had to change my password the other day like I said before, but I haven't had any login issues since changing it.

Did anyone else get this PHP message at any point?

Hello, I had the same problem yesterday, white screen with the same message. My "Firefox" needed a update, I did it today and now, I can come in TMF. I don't know if it's because the update or not, but it works. ( Sorry for my poor english).

Firefox updated for me yesterday morning as well when I opened it. So like I said, I was really concerned that something on my end was causing me to no longer have access to the site.

Giving the forums a go again post update. I’ve honestly missed forums in the post social-media age. It was always much easier to socialise and get to know people on here!

Had to reset password to log in but aside from that no issues. There are things I like and things I don't like about this new site. I do miss being able to see when someone was last online and having actual friends instead of just "following" someone

I can't do anything about the "following" vs. "friends" feeling. But if you hover over someone's name it should show when they were last online. If it doesn't, let me know, because I can see it and it might be a setting I can turn on.

Well, like any of us old farts, we're resistant to change. But in the tech world, change is inevitable. I'm just very appreciative that we have someone like Jeff that is dedicated to this site to iron out all the kinks! Giving it time, I'm sure most of us will get used to the new look and be able to function pretty much as we always have. Thanks again Jeff for your dedication to this site! I don't know what we'd do without you!

That's what I'm hoping. As an old fart myself, I'm also resistant to change. The truth is, I only ever did this because we had no choice.

But now that I did, I'm glad. It's a much much better piece of forum software than what we had.

The new forum is far superior Jeff! Well done and thank you for your investment of time and most certainly money.!

The interface is better. It’s easier to scroll through. The look is fresh. Seems to scroll more smoothly. And I love being able to engage with other members through liking their content.

With tech, change is inevitable. I know people are going to complain, because no one likes change. (Who moved my cheese?”)

However, seeing the members mention the importance of their longstanding membership is a testament to what you’ve created. Well done.

Once you click on someone's username, their profile info is now called "About" which I don't love and will eventually change.

For images inserted in the post it used to be possible to show on hover how many views they got. Now I can only see that metric when the image is attached at the end of the post. Is it possible to add this back?

I'd like to get that back too, but I haven't seen an option for it. It's on my list though.

I only see the "last seen" info when hovering over my own name, not others.
