I never pray for a win in football. It feels wrong. I really, really want my Patriots to beat Denver next weekend. I've been following a forum where people are progressing in month-old playoff discussions, and I am so football uneducated compared to some of these folks. Okay, to many of them. I'm super nervous! I was really rooting for the Chargers because playing them would mean a home game for us, and we're undefeated this season at home.
Then I have a hefty amount of stress with schoolwork right now. I just started my first math class in like 10 years. I'm awful at math, and it takes me hours each day to complete the homework for the week. I take accelerated 8 week classes, so it's 16 weeks of work crammed into half the time. Last week was the first week, and while I've breezed through the rest of my classes (I've been back in school since Sept 2012), last week kicked my ass. By Friday, my brain was so completely shot that I only made it halfway through my Hebrew lessons (I have a 45 minute commute in the mornings, and that's when I do language lessons). I feel rested up now after a nice weekend, and today I did a lot of reading (for class). The bonus to taking 8 week courses is that you only do 2 at a time. You end up with 12 classes in a year, which is the equivalent to taking 5 per semester, plus 2 in the summer. This works out much better when you work full-time.
Anyway, I just felt like spewing that out, and lately some of the people on my Facebook feed have been trolling football posts, so to avoid my own snark coming out, I decided to post it here.
Shavua Tov havarim!
