Actually, I haven't seen any serious percentage of tickling sites going this way.

In my opinion, if a site does go that way, it would likely indicate that they were only into the tickling for the money and switched to the sex in hopes of making more money.

Tickle fetish sites are generally run by tickle fetishists. The site owners must run the sites with a business brain if they want to succeed. This will at times mean that they have to be a little flexible, but IMHO they should stick to their passion - tickling.

If a site does move mainly to the SEX direction, I don't see it as a loss. Instead I see it as the unmasking of an imposter.

That all being said, I think that we will see some sites combining tickling during sex. I think that's great since many of us ticklers do this in real life.

I agreed with JD here. Also, you are operating under a misunderstanding if you believe sites are "bought out" by clips4sale, all clips4sale stores are independently owned, clips4sale simply provide you the server & the easy to use store format & payment handling. They take their part of the proceeds due to that.. and rightly so.

There are a notable uptick in these... semi pseudo BDSM, tickling/forced orgasm/handjob sites, but thats just the nature of the market. Personally I'm not too much in to porn anymore, but I was until not long ago, and I'm a 20 something male, as are a large portion of the buyers of tickling related clips on clips4sale. So to place the products paralell to eachother, kinda makes sense. Not to discount your opinion, cause there are some out there, but if you look harder, theres tons of quality material out there too.

I'm gonna take a personal take on this one because is a good topic and as a producer it gives a chance to explain a few things.

I am one of those producers who started with just tickling video and slowly evolved into tickling mixed with other aspects of softcore porn, like nudity, forced orgasms, etc.

This has to do with 2 big factors.

1. All my videos are in a way erotic fantasies in which tickling is a leading part of a romantic encounter between two persons, normally a girl and me. At the beginning I was doing just tickling videos, but always felt the they were too superficial because they didn't have a reason to be. And since all my sessions are one hour long, if the girl wasn't ticklish enough it turned into a very boring hour. So I started adding stuff like the ice, spray with cold water, the workout machines, and then I experimented with vibrators and forced orgasms, and found out that this was the best way to compliment a tickling session and turn it into a sexual fantasy, the orgasm being the climax of an arousing encounter.

2. Business wise, adding sexual themes to a video increased the marketability and profits huge! And this is the way I make a living so for me sales is a big issue because thats how I pay my bills, but I have always kept the tickling as the main dich of the hour, and all the other elements as miscelaneous. Also this extras help to cover the gaps where the model needs to take a brake to breath. Anybody that has bought any of my videos knows that they are usually shoot live, with minumum stops, unless the girl asks for a real stop.

The beauty of the fetish world is that everybody has a different style, so even if producers share the same models, you will never see the same clip twice, because each one of us has a different approach.

As a new tickle producer, I'd like to chime in. I went back and counted: I'm up to ten models now, with 35 or so total clips (I don't count multiple formats as separate clips). Yay!

For my work, I can tell you exactly why I do each kind of scene: it's what I like. I like seeing a cute girl tied down and stimulated just past her point of control. On the other hand, some poll results show between 65% and 80% of adults say they like to tickle, be tickled or watch tickling. Of course, that number doesn't reflect the number of adults who get turned on by--and would be willing to purchase--tickle videos, but the overall market should be big. The "typical" porn market is also big. So why aren't tickle producers getting rich? (Maybe some are, but most of what I read suggests no one is retiring young in this business.)

As much as we tickle fetishists enjoy tickle vids, as a producer I have to recognize that tickle fetish is a very small slice of another small slice of the porn pie. Porn is a big market, but still a small competitor for retail dollars. Fetish porn is a very small part of the porn market. Tickling is a small part of that. So, if we can expand our reach to a broader audience, that can increase revenue and fund more models. I do this for fun, but model fees are easier to pay when you have more cash...

So, while I don't know of any specific examples of a tickle producer "turning to sex," I can say that I would hardly blame them for reaching out to a larger fan base. In my case, I plan to release a "tickling sex" video into the larger porn venues just to try to appeal to a larger group. I'm convinced there are people who like "regular porn" and also would enjoy tickling, but they don't like tickling enough to have found our little corner of the world yet. I think we could attract some of them by introducing tickling into a "normal" porn vid. I'm not a big fan of the typical porn that's out there, so maybe others have done it already, but I might try, as well. A rising tide raises all boats, so the more video buyers we bring to the tickle world, the better.

Anyway, I would encourage you not to get frustrated or offended if you see sexier/more explicit things in tickle videos. There will always be plenty of good, clean tickling in our fetish. The occasional outlier is probably just appealing to a wider market. Or, in my case, it's just what I wanted to do that day... :whipcrack:

Your question is really good and I enjoyed reading all the answers too! I love love love tickling but will definitely be expanding my site just for the practical purposes of trying to make more income. That's not the only reason I do it, I mean being a fetish model is super and fun and all that but I do have bills to pay, so if I can expand my customer base I'm going to do it. My opinion in this is pretty straightforward - I do not feel that sex has any place for the tickle video content at all. I feel if a company resorts to this, they not only trash their own branding but also as others have said, are likely in it for the money and probably don't have the true passion for it.

Besides money, I can't really think of why a company would want to go this route, but it's sad and disgusting at the same time. I have seen more companies do this - especially the top ones, over the years. Rest assured though, this is something we will never do!
