In the Middle of Madness
Can you hear the anguished cries of college and university students across the continent? Yep, midterm time, and it's the time of year when I kick myself in the butt and stop slacking. This process usually involves a lot of panic and caffeine. Luckily, there's a Tim Horton's nearby! If there's one thing I've developed in my years in university, it's caffeine addiction. Still have a few midterms to go, but the majority are over. Looking forward to the next long weekend to finally catch up on sleep.
I have had a grand total of one person PM me looking for math problem help. I really wasn't expecting anyone to take me up on that, but it was a pleasure to be able to help someone. =D The offer is always there if anyone needs it.
The TMF is always one of those places I look forward to checking up on after the end of a long day, so thanks for being here, everyone. =D
Self-Improvement
Speaking of kicking stuff in gear, I've been making an effort to get active. I mean - I'm an engineering student, dammit, and I'm supposed to be pasty-skinned and physically inept! I read Starting Strength and I've been lifting weights for about three months now - never really knew how much fun it'd be. If you've never tried it but were on the edge about starting - do it.
I've been trying to work on getting writing done, and it's a long, difficult process. There's some kind of mental block that I can't quite get my finger on when it comes to writing these kinds of stories, and it's a little bit maddening. Doing my writing exercises, though, and slowly working my way through them.
Well. That's it for me. Until next time. =)
