It's kind of shitty how the same one or two people are always harping at others to use the search function before posting to avoid making a duplicate thread, despite mods saying they don't mind.
The forum is 20+ years old and even when you use the search bar, the results are not always correct or consistent.
But overall these members responses are annoying especially because of how often they occur, but I think they intimidate people from posting as much as well.
I read that one reason these users tell others about the search function (using polite, friendly, helpful language of course /s) is that they get excited about new content or info only to find that it's a repeat.
So they're angry over a couple clicks within a 30 second action / having to click the back button or they're angry about the hope of a potential boner? I don't get it.
Just seems like a trash experience to have if you're a new member looking forward to interacting and someone rushes and stops any pertinent conversation before it even happens - and usually in a negative manner.
