Yep, that felt good!

Ahhh, just got in from my fantasy football draft with my "former" co-workers. I knew my stupid former EVP was going to be there and I found out earlier today that I was laid off due to a bunch of lies by her which made me want to go as I was questioning even showing up because I was so upset. It was nice to show up and for her to see that she didn't "ruin" me. Apparently things are really bad at my former job and she's in a bunch of trouble with the higher ups so while I never would wish harm or ill will on someone, karma is a bitch. Hence why I was laid off because I "knew too much." I had former clients emailing me and calling me about this EVP complaining about her and she knows that. The owner of the company was there tonight as well and was basically kissing my ass, which I found really funny. He told me that HR was questioning my layoff as they went through my file and it showed that I was a "model" employee so now he wants to question my former EVP about why she did what she did. I said please do. After over ten years there, I don't even have so much as a write up. Office politics. I really hope she's outted for the asshole that she is. I've seen her do this to a bunch of people over the years and never thought she'd do it to me but hey, there's a first for everything. Shit, I probably shouldn't do a blog while buzzed on watermelon martinis lol. I walked in and she immediately had that "I can't believe she still showed up" look. Good. Fuck her lol. Again, I apologize for the martinis. Ah, no I don't, they were fantastic lol.
