Perhaps. I've noticed, though, that moving south just does something to most people. You lose things. You gain things. For example, you lose all ability to tolerate temperatures below 70 degrees comfortably and you gain a deep appreciation for fried chicken and biscuits. 😛 Driving in snow is just one thing you lose. Frankly, driving skills in general tend to disappear. 😀I actually feel sadder as time has gone by today. Right after I saw her, I thought I could just let things be. It turns out, that for me, it's difficult to put the past completely away. Has that ever happened to you? You want to give someone a fresh chance, but they have done soooooooooo much to be a pain in the ass that you aren't sure you even want to think about them? LOL 😀I'm relaxing after seeing my mom for the first time in a long time. I've decided that we should at least exchange contact information. We may never be close, but me thinks it is time to just accept her the way she is. She's not the mother I dream of having, but she's the only one I have.
Doing that tired me out.I suppose we shouldn't be too hard on those southern drivers. How many accidents would they cause with even that dusting? 😛Coming from the northeast down to North Carolina, I hear that. What's that you say? There's a dusting of snow on the roads you say? ll take sunshine, clear days, and colder weather, though. Heat and humidity is just life-draining, man. The few times during the summer months I am at my Grandfather's in Savannah, GA, I am about ready to go lock myself in a freezer. 😀That, my good man, is why I stay up north. I like the opposite of what you do. Heat and humidity make me die.
