It hooks into the Wabash River,which is what i really crossed,but it was part of the Erie Canal system.That was good enough for me.🙂

Heh. Yeah, that area is pretty rural with small towns scattered here and there. GPS tells me where to find, gas, too...

Heh. I really like my GPS, just hate driving like at night in a strange area. Fortunately, it was around dinner time. I've driven through rough areas in Chicago and such. And of course, Gary, Indiana is a hell hole in and of itself. I'm used to being cautious. Never stop for gas 😉

I bought a map...it's just that the GPS makes things simpler. I have my hotel patio door open - in 40 minutes, Jo Dee Messina is performing here and I can see/hear most of it without going down to face the crowds 😀

Yes I did. Got off at Jackson and 22nd or 23rd street. The hotel is on E. Pershing, near Crown Center. I liked your blog. Sorry your schedule sucks...

Did you get a new route??? That's awesome!!!! I didn't really like the way my GPS brought me into downtown...it wasn't too late at night, but the neighborhood didn't look to be great 🙁
