I worry most for her kids. It's already affecting them and will continue to affect them if she doesn't do something. Either counseling or getting a divorce. And honestly I think a divorce is the best answer because I don't think their marriage can be fixed.

And she pissed me off because she immediately distrusted Dan. Thought he was taking pictures with his phone of her and of her youngest kid. And she thought it was appropriate for him to lay his legs on my lap while we were sitting on the couch. And this all happened at my house for my dad's and grandma's birthday party.

It's a little more than that. She's paranoid about almost everything. She sees shadows where there are none. And it's recently come to light that her husband of nearly 20 years has been having an affair for the past 8 years. Things have gotten so bad between her and her husband that they've gotten physical. Apparently he broke her arm last summer and she gave him a black eye over Christmas. She's got problems that she basically won't admit to.

Yeah. I just wish she would realize that she can't have things go back to the way they were and do something. It makes me sad because her kids are the ones being most affected by it.

I love my family. I love my aunt, but during the past few years, she's just gotten nuttier. I think she has some problems she needs to deal with that she won't admit to, and she's kind of transferring that onto everyone else and it's making things a little stressed for the rest of the family.
