Agreed. I think that's definitely true. The internet allows us more freedom of expression because you don't see the other person's reaction.

Now that is crazy. Though I've seen worse. When I was in school, I had a classmate who wore shorts throughout the year, even during the winter season. 😱

That's most likely the case, because it was the first time you two met. I know I'm more shy when meeting someone for the first time. It's just hard to picture Carsomyr being shy. He pretty much comes across as this crazy lunatic. 😛
