Our state justice system is often an embarrassment. We execute, by far, more people then any other state. There was a time when I was a firm believer in the death penalty. But too many people who were later proven innocent have been put to death. That didn't do them much good of course, and I just can't agree with giving a state that kind of power.
Racism and homophobia are sadly alive and well, more so in the rural parts of Texas then the large cities but it's still a big problem.
Every few years when the State Board of Education is ready to order new text books, there is a big hue and cry from those who want the biblical creation story taught as equivalent to evolution. I have no problem with religious people in general, but religion has no place in the public schools.
Most of these issues are not unique to Texas of course, but I find them troubling.

How are things in Svveeeden? 😀Texas is so big and diverse, that is a tough question. There are counties in West Texas bigger then some of the New England states but only a few thousand people live in them. In the Rio Grand Valley, it's more like living in Mexico then America. East Texas is in many ways more of an old Southern state like Alabama or Georgia back in the bad old days, but that is slowly changing.
I live in Austin, our state capital. It's gotten much too big for my tastes, we will have 1 million people living here within 10 years or so. I do enjoy the ethnic and cultural diversity though. And while the summers can be very hot I do enjoy our warmer winters. I grew up in Kansas, and I hate cold weather and snow.
When I moved from Kansas to Houston in 1980, I felt like I had been born in the wrong place. It's hard to explain. Many things about Texas make me mad, frustrate me, and sometimes make me ashamed, but this is where my heart and soul are. I can't imagine living anywhere else.LOL I am a walking contradiction. XD All I know is that watching some types of tickling gets me more excited/thrilled than any other visual stimulus. 😵
Ah, I remember those types of threads in forums. XP There actually was a tickle thread in the Relient K forum I was a member of a long time ago and I would lurk on it so much. lol

So when did you first realize you were into tickling? I've known my whole life, basically. For the longest time I kept resisting the idea that it might be a fetish. lol But now I've completely embraced it. =) Maybe it's because I've realized that I got the gayness and so the idea that it might be a fetish makes total sense to me now. XDWell, I just call myself Christian, but I'm more close to Protestantism than anything else. Do you affiliate with any religion or spiritual belief?

How is the driver education class coming along?
Hard country is somewhat like Rock music. Soft country would be a more traditional sounding music like the old classic songs like Coal Miner's Daughter and The Corvette Song. I guess I missed your meaning earlier. What are your favorite songs right now? Maybe I can steer you to singers that you might like.OMG It's another Sveeeed!

I like Tim McGraw's stuff but he's not my favorite and I can't think of the names of his songs. Everybody has different tastes in music. When you get the chance try Travis Tritt and his songs called Best of Intentions and Country Club. Tritt can do both hard and soft Country music. Randy Travis is mostly traditional country with Deeper Than The Holler and Forever and Ever, Amen. These two artists should keep you busy for a while...LOL
Tim McGraw is fine. If you like that style then look up Some Girls Do by Sawyer Brown ....John Deere Green by Joe Diffie or Trashy Women by Confederate Railroad. Do you look on YouTube or on some music site?
