10 Things I Hate About Tickle Videos

I guess some amateurs who're new to the whole tickle fetish world assume since tickling is considered erotic, may as well make it sound sexy....which...almost always sounds fake and horribly out of place.
 
I hate fake. I'd rather see no laughter at than look at someone just screaming their head off even before their shoes are removed.

I couldn't agree more, some of the better clips I've seen are when the lees aren't necessarily laughing outright but you can tell from their facial and bodily reactions that they're ticklish... though it is becoming much harder to watch and believe, admittedly.
 
One thing I hate is when the tickler doesn't know how to tickle effectively. It's either too fast, too light, doesn't effectively dig into the skin, it's just play tickling. I'm not the biggest fan of "play" tickling, I like tickle TORTURE!
 
Ugh, to add to the list (if it's not already been posted) I hate it when it's all about guys getting stroked and stuff while the girl doing it is being tickled. I have a 'one penis per fantasy rule' and that one penis is my own lol. But, I guess, to each his own...
 
Definitely prefer the torture side. Tho, I have seen vids where it wasn't torture, but I just lost my mind watching.

Sometimes it's something you just can't identify that makes a video fantastic.

Digging isn't necessary for torture in all situations. One girl I tickled was more sensitive to moderate pressure. If I dug in, it hurt a bit. If I went really light, I still got a good response. But when I put my hands on her body, and made a big pinching motion, and just let my fingers slip (sorta like when you snap your fingers with a bit less force), she went insane. First time I've ever really used that style. And I think I enjoyed that style more than my previous favorite, the dig.

Don't know how that would translate onto a camera tho. might look weak.

That's the trick IMO, getting a girl who isn't just ticklish, but is ticklish in a way the camera loves.

Or she just has this incredible "stage presence". Like Charlee. Regardless of what's going on, she's good good presence on camera.

A lot of great opinions. I agree with most of them. I don't have time to remember the numbers in the original post, but let me give you my most pet peeves. But its clear that most of the grievances deal with the tickler. The tickle video has grown from merely making home videos of tickling to now making a decent, well-conceived tickling video worth the price.

A - More than just the ticklee: I think the point made re: the importance of the tickler is spot-on. This is why I love F/F and now F/M nowadays.
Bottom line: if the video has a plot - then have a good plot with decent acting - which is not that hard. If no plot, then stop flirting with the girl, shut the hell up and just give me the bloody tickling.

B - The unofficial mercy rule: when ticklers find a very ticklish spot and avoid really tickling it. One of the first videos I saw was For You#1:Mary by Magic Touch - where Mary's armpits were mercilessly tickled in what I still consider one of the best tickle clips of all time IMO. The same goes with the use of tools when fingertips work best.

C - Tickle competence a must - enough of the feet-slapping and toe masturbation. Tickling is not that hard if you've ever done it genuinely before. The great Priscilla did it the best where she would spider tickle all over til she found a sensitive spot and then focus all her attention there. Tickle producers need to see her tickling styles and emulate that.

Thats the gist of it.

I just wish that the producers would read this thread and learn from it.
 
it's really common sense for the most part, unless the director was completely new with the concept of "tickle fetishism" to begin with

Great question!

A while back I wrote an article about building a successful clips4sale.com store. One of the pieces of advice I gave was to always have a contact email address at the top of your store. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to contact a store owner to ask a question about a video before I bought - and found no contact info - and so I didn't buy. Again, to all store onwers, please provide a way for us to contact you and do so in your stores.

The more succesful a store becomes, the less practical it becomes to stay in contact on an individual basis. Clips4sale does provide a semi-blind method for store owners to broadcast to their past customers without really ever knowing the email addresses. So if a store owner wants to announce new titles, that's available.

Now that i've thought about it, this is a reat thread. Is there anyway possible that just maybe, a Sticky Thread could be made along the lines " How to Make a Successful Tickle Video" Or someting along the lines? There could be tips on things such as choosng the right lighting to finding the right models..

I mainly want it for people who may be interested in making some Tickling Videos, or are thinking about becoming a Producer sometime in the near future.

If there is also one thing I do not like, it's preview clips. Most of them do give a pretty good indication on what the clip is going to be about, but some of them are either too short, or spend the firs 10 seconds showing the title screen..
 
When girls aren't ticklish! You can totally tell when they're overly hyper and beg more than laugh. Give me a break!

Ooh, I like this.

1. Masks. Seems lers are more guilty here. If you don't want to show your face in a video, dont be in the video. Im sure someone else would gladly take your place!

2. Silly porn-a-like plots. Self explanatory. A little plot can be fun, but its almost always super-cheesy.

3. The whole "forced orgasm" thing. I guess some must like it, but for me, personally? Ew.
 
I Can't stand it when they DO find their most ticklish spot and then ignore it or when they ticklee looks at the camera either. So unprofessional... Total turn off for me :/ but what are you gonna do...
 
Camera Quality: Now, i'm not expecting top notch hd 1280 X 1080 video or anything, but some companies need to invest in some better cameras. Eithat, or film with better lighting in the room..
 
Apart from faked responses the worst aspect of the whole business is idiot ticklers who feel they have to compete with the victims reactions by either giving running commentaries, laughing along with her (very annoying) or indulging in childish coochie coo nonsense it takes all the heat and tension out of the scene reducing it to the level of pantomime.Another major failing is the lack of a dom /sub dynamic, there is too much matieness amongst the participants which creates all the sexual charge of a pillow fight. Too many of these clowns think its ok to take your money just to watch them having lighthearted fun and have no idea what fetishism is all about. What we need is some real artists who take what they do seriously enough to create the deep dark erotisism that is so sadly lacking.
 
For me, the most anoying thing in a tickle video is when the lee or ler talks to the camera man, or even worse, talks to you, the watcher. That totaly kills the movie. I also dislike when they change ler.
And I agree with you about the bondage. As an upperbody fan I just hate when the lee aint laying still. It ruins the whole ticklesession.
