This topic fascinates me in many ways as it dealt with higher theories, not to mention the messy fractal analysis. Nevermind. As far as understanding this thing is concerned, it can be perceived visually, dropping out its association with time and space.

Well, Milagros and Chrisheaven, where are you? Let's screw this thing! :atom:

Rule 1: No kicking in the arse, huh? 😀

It's just { (w,x,y.z) | w, x, y, and z are real numbers }

😀

Current theories regard the Universe as being 11 dimensional. New universes are created when 11 dimensonal membranes collide with one another. See how easy it is to understand 😛

Actually, I am not up on the latest string theories. 😀

The art piece I did below is in honor of Membrane Theory (Or M Theory). Not sure how accurate it is in terms of the way Cosmiologists view things now but I suppose my opinion is as good as anyone elses. LOL 😀 😛

Very pretty. 😀
I'm not sure anybody can draw an 11-dimensional object.

Thanks. 😀

Very true. I heard there was mathematician who spent a great deal of time trying to visualize a Tesseract (4 dimensional cube), never heard how close he got. 😀 😀 😛

I also tried but didn't succeed very well. The tesseract has 8 "faces" each of which is a cube. 😱
😀

I loved that book. First read it when I was 12 years old. 😀

Once the copyright expires and something is in the public domain, anybody can scan a copy and put it on the internet. 😀 😛

There is a book Five Ages Of The Universe that is quite a good read too I think. Its not free though. 😀 😀 😛

The authors are

Fred C. Adams and Greg Laughlin

The book is available from Amazon.
