I'm in Wine Country.
I've been accused of "bigotry" before cause I'm "Right-Wing". It's not good to hurl insults in return (I'm trying to learn that lesson) but there IS a popular myth being circuated that ALL right-wingers, Tea-Partiers, Conservatives etc are only that way because they're either Stupid or Racist and that NO sane, rational person could POSSIBLY be anything other than a good Liberal. I've encountered this warped view first-hand from otherwise intelligent people.
There shouldn't be such vitriol between Liberal and Conservative; they're different views with the same goals in mind (wish I had the exact quote from Alan Colmes) We all want free speech, we all want to eliminate poverty as much as possible, and neither side wants segregation or racism to be public policy ever again. They should DEBATE and ARGUE, but respectfully; I mean they shouldn't assign EVIL motives to their opponents in the debate.
Do Liberals really think these "Tea Party" people oppose 'Obamacare' (for example) just because the President's black? Why not listen to their REASONS for opposing it (they're against the expansion of government) cause Obama himself said they oppose his POLICIES, not his ethnicity.
It seems absurd to half the country that the other half is "Pro-Life" and "Pro-Gun" at the same time (and "Pro-Death penalty too) but it makes sense if you can see the reasons behind these views.

It's true that the liberal and conservative rank and file share the objective of bettering humanity. It's equally true that the liberal and conservative leaders share the objective of ensuring and expanding the reign of the bourgeoisie. Choosing between liberal and conservative is like choosing to be punched in the face with a red boxing glove or a blue one and no lasting, positive change will ever come until the proletariat builds it's own party.
