Well, I can't honestly wish ill will on the man now that he's gone but the fact of the matter while he was alive is that he was a career politician never having spent a single day of his adult life actually earning a living and a rigid leftist idealogue sociopath who spent almost 50 years trying to ruin the United States.

But this takes the cake...

Ah Torve..if what you say is true, and he didn't work a day in his life..is that true of all Senators, Congressmen and the like? AS i said before..he could have retired at any time..and spent all his time sailing, which was his true love..but he chose to work for us..

Interesting point isabeau which I'll be happy to answer. Not lending myself to the unreasonable and less than objective thought process of radical liberals I'm happy to inform you that I believe that ANY lifelong politician from ANY party who has never spent a day in the private sector is guilty of that which I mentioned in my previous post. It's interesting, however, that you will find infinitely more career politicians on the left than you will on the right if you do a bit of research. No one is a bigger proponent of term limits than I.

Sure...sent over 4,000 American troops to their deaths in two wars that have had no benefit to the United States people as a whole, and donated billions of our taxpayer dollars to the corporations under the guise of "economic stimulus". Yeah Maniac, they're great people (coughbullshticough).

And, lest my feeble mind is mistaken, Obama, the late Ted, and all those other Democrats voted for all this 'economic stimulus.' The Republicans couldn't do it alone, not enough votes. At least I know MY congressman voted against all these 'porkulus' bills, whether during the Bush 43 administration or the current Obama-rama Traveling Political Salvation Show (I went to the gov site that records all the votes and checked). Everyone should do that as well, so you can know which ones to keep and which ones to kick out of there.

The time has been overdue for term limits in the House and Senate. If they can limit the President's terms, why not Congress?

I agree. Especially if Jesus was a former cheerleader, cokehead, alcoholic, draft-dodging son of elitist pigs pretending to be a good ol' boy from Texas whose entire term in office was designed to line the pockets of Daddy's already insanely rich milito-industrialist cronies. Definitely.

Interesting that you'd pinpoint the Dems as corrupt when the Republican Party in several states is looking into numerous cases of cash mismanagement from party donations. This isn't the Dems looking into things, but the GOP themselves. Which isn't to say that the Democrats don't have their own skeletons in the closet.
But then, that's what I see as the fundamental problem with any and all of the political discourse of late. The real truth is, politicians on both sides of the aisle have failed us, the American people, and we(everyone) have good reasons to be upset/angry. But most people are still parsing it into one side or the other's entire fault. I ain't buying that, and if you're a true American of Will Rogers stock - you won't, either.

Of course, what any of this has to do with Kennedy's death is beyond me.
