No, there's no difference in the actual images, you just get more images per day and other features (like the ability to delete image sets or make them private).

I think batch generation is just for bulk production that you can preset to go over time.

In any case, both generations of tickle machine are very successful.

One thing that surprise me a little about Ideogram is that the skin of soles always looks completely wrinkled, as if the characters were 60 years old. I hope they eventually improve this look.

The wrinkled skin thing came in with new 3rd generation generator. I think they're trying for "more detailed," and it's an unplanned byproduct. That doesn't happen with the 2nd generation generator, which is still available... though in other respects the 3rd generation is better.
