I think it's poppameth who kept posting pictures from the gelbooru website. DAAAAAAMN, that website is awesome! It's updated every day, with a minimum of 5 new pictures.

You just need to type "feet", "barefeet", "toes" or "soles" in the search category, and voila! Instant happiness! You can also search for stuff like "bikini", or "beach" since a lot of pictures show girls' feet, but are not tag with any of the feet keywords.

No offense, but I'm the one that told this whole forum about Danbooru in the first place. Along with it's clones like Gelbooru, Nyanbooru, Sagubooru, etc.
 
Gelbooru is great. Danbooru I'm not so fond of. It has a lot of server busy errors lately. Regardless, I noticed a lot of that stuff I posted is indeed on Gelbooru now but that's not where I got it. I found most of that in a massive japanese hentai archive that is no longer accessible to me.

Uh, I knew about Danbooru before I ever saw even one of your posts, and I'm sure it's the same for many people here.

Get over yourself. You're not some pioneer of the Internet.
 
I said "No offense," but I guess that means nothing to some.

If you knew about Danbooru before, then why didn't you say something earlier and save me the trouble?

I just get a little peeved when someone tells someone how great something is someone else found when someone else already found it before. And I'm not talking about just me. Yes, we have 200+ pages to look through but for content this rare, I would think you'd want to go through it all.

What's the difference between gelbooru and danbooru anyway? I've only ever gone to danbooru frequently, I've been through all the foot pics they have there and am pretty sure there isn't much the other sites have which is different.
 
There really isn't much a difference. Just that...and the current moment, you have to subscribe to Danbooru to see anything. I don't know if it's free, but you kinda have to go through red tape just to subscribe. Gelbooru you don't have to. All these sites kinda keep changing on what you can see and can't see due to bandwith problems. People will post in whatever site that is the most stable and or free, so you might find pictures on one site that you didn't see in another.

Danbooru is like another 4chan, it was one of the first. But then a few peps posted material that the owners didn't really found suitable, so they had to close it down. Soon enough others try to host their own "booru," some are better then others. Then Danbooru comes back up upexpectingly.

ATM however, Gelbooru is the most frequently updated, the most stable, and free.

Yeah, I get your point Xavius. You'd have to be really dedicated (or have no life) to go through all the various "*booru" sites to find different pics.

last i checked, all the 'booru's' were free. i'm a member of almost all of them. gelbooru is, as you said, the most stable of all of them.

as for my contribution, they're mostly h-manga and doujin pages i found floating around. don't know where from, but wouldn't mind a source or two^_<. if you no like,you no click!

Yeah, alot of people have been getting that. I think the servers the site uses are just far too overstressed with all the traffic they have to cope with. It seems to be happening all the time now.

The main reason I liked danbooru was because it had a database of the source artists for the artwork which was posted there, as well as putting doujinshi and pics into pools.
They also didn't show gratuitous sex ads like on 4chan.
