I had a recurring dream about waking up palalysed and seeing one of these things descending towards my face. Bastard had the biggest eyes you ever did see.

Never did actually reach my face before I woke up, for which I'm extremely thankful.

These beasties evolved to be sorta flat so they can chase cockroaches (their favorite snack) into cracks and crevices.

Wow, TKpervert, thanks for the link.

Sometimes they will come indoors and wander around on our walls and ceilings.  As all other Huntsman Spiders, the Brown Huntsman Spiders can walk in any direction, forward,  backward and sideway, very quickly.

I feel so much better now.
