Carsomyr had tried to teach me hockey one night and he asked me who Mario Lemieux was, but I wasn't paying attention and he said Super Mario and I go "I didn't know Super Mario had a last name" referring to the Super Mario Bros for Nintendo. Yeah, that's my epic fail.

Now, I was telling Carsomyr that if he wanted to listen to some BA country that he should listen to Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr., and some others. He says he didn't know that Johnny Cash was an artist. I'm like "Not knowing who Johnny Cash was is as bad as my not knowing who Mario Lemieux is."

Of course, Carsomyr and everyone else doesn't think so.

I don't know why I'm friends with these people. 🙁

That is a matter of deluded opinion and stats mean nothing. Wussies should not be allowed to play hockey. He was the biggest cry baby in NHL history. And he played for the Pens which makes him public enemy number one. I think Howe was much better.😀

I happen to think Mario is amazing. A great player and he's a great man. I've met him a few times, when he was playing and when he at several events that I've attended. One of the kindest people you'd ever meet and the fact that he sat and chatted with mom who couldn't get around well as she was in a wheelchair at the time, meant the world to me. Both of them know/knew what it's like to have lymphoma but Mario beat his. My mom did not. He's an inspiration for people who have money and the right way to go about using it.

Not to mention what he's done for hockey in this city. Everyone has an opinion and this is mine.

And as his name translates - The Best.
