I happen to think Mario is amazing. A great player and he's a great man. I've met him a few times, when he was playing and when he at several events that I've attended. One of the kindest people you'd ever meet and the fact that he sat and chatted with mom who couldn't get around well as she was in a wheelchair at the time, meant the world to me. Both of them know/knew what it's like to have lymphoma but Mario beat his. My mom did not. He's an inspiration for people who have money and the right way to go about using it.

Not to mention what he's done for hockey in this city. Everyone has an opinion and this is mine.

And as his name translates - The Best.

Never said he was not a good man. Most athletes are. Just saying he would have been better as a baseball player. That is cool what he did for your mom though. Now that I have inseted my foot in my mouth again I promise to shut up now.

That is a matter of deluded opinion and stats mean nothing. Wussies should not be allowed to play hockey. He was the biggest cry baby in NHL history. And he played for the Pens which makes him public enemy number one. I think Howe was much better.😀
