I work in a group home for adults with mental illness. I teach them activities of daily living - cooking, cleaning, budgeting, medication management, hygiene, grocery shopping - etc, etc.

Neither. I work with people who have a mental health diagnosis, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, borderline personality disorder, etc. I have worked with people who are borderline intellectual functioning, but their primary diagnosis is mental health. Many of the people I work or have worked with spent many years holding down decent jobs, built families, and some even have college degrees. Mental illness is not the same as developmentally disabled or low intellectual functioning.

I didn't know that - and I don't think I've heard the song. Can I just take a moment and say, however, that your sig is massively huge. Any chance you'd love to cut it down to one pic? Maybe the boom box one? And 86 the other one?

I knew it was a bit too big, plus I don't think a lot of people really appreciate seeing a man's toes, either lol. I'm currently thinking of putting something to go with that stereo pic that won't take too much space, perhaps a witty quote, but I have none. Can you help me out with that so I could take away the toe pic and not feel so "bleh" with just the stereo pic? 😀

Yeah - I'd take out of the part that makes it a quote. Just put the words. Like this...
