Not really. We're having some guests tomorrow that I will likely be forced to entertain, but other than that I had only planned to completely waste the following couple of days in front of the computer. 😀

As surprising as it may sound, I was drunk for the first time when I was 18, and I think it was a whole year till I got seriously sloshed again after that. These days it happens more often though 😛

The style I'm looking at is this:

The site that sells it (and I know gives decent-quality stuff) is Jelling Dragon. Pronounced Yelling Dragon. It's the whole J thing.

That helm is priced at about £275, more if you add lining in... thus why I'm annoyed at the price of it. Although, it IS made to order with measurements and all.

Hoping to find a somewhat cheaper one when I go to TORM in Coventry around Novemberish time. Current helm I use is a spangenhelm (examples can be seen on the helmets page of the Jelling Dragon site) that I got from another site known as Get Dressed For Battle (can't remember URL, google it, they've gone downhill recently) and is more than a little bit too big - but it works. I can hit myself in the head with an axe with no ill effects when wearing it. Was under £100 for the spangenhelm, though I had to make an arming cap for it.

Going to ask someone else who has one that they didn't get secondhand where they got it if their Internet starts working soon, until then I have no realistic ways to get in contact... just my luck 😛

Thanks to the Swedish school system! I'm currently in the uni, but I only have like three 2-hour lectures a week, and they're not mandatory so I skip some of them as well. University-studies here involves a lot of personal responsibility, and we're expected to read course literature at home. ...not that I actually do that or anything! 😛

Don't get horns from there - you'll be able to get bigger ones for less elsewhere. I've seen ones that can hold a couple pints for about £25. Buying in person generally means you can haggle - if there's a reenactor market or something, that may be your best bet 😛
