I've been to France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Mexico, Canada and, as a young girl, most of Southeast Asia.

I'd have to say Paris was my favorite.

There is only one song about seltzer that I have ever heard about, that one. The title is Seltzer Boy written and sung by Allan Sherman.

Sadly, no. It was really quite tragic. The album that that song was in, My Son the Folksinger, propelled him from obscurity to fame and wealth in the early 1960's. He had two more hit albums. He began to drink heavily, use drugs, and cheat on his wife. He spiraled downward and died alone and broke in 1973.

I agree with you. 🙁 Her name was Dee Chackes and she divorced him in 1966 when his adultery became flagrant.
Allan Sherman is not the only musician/entertainer to be destroyed by success. It is all too common in that profession.

I tend to go for the more out of the way, isolated places. Vacations are for regaining physical strength and mental clarity. So, cabins in the woods, beaches not often visited. Those sorts of things.
