No that was completely necessary =]! I love all those booksss. WHY IS MARRIED WITH CHILDREN SOOO HILARIOUS?!?

I don't know if it's because I stared at it too long or what, but I think the elephant winked at me. :runningdog:

-What are your favorite comfort clothes when you are ready to snuggle up in a blanket to watch a movie, or just general relaxing at home?
-Do you enjoy the zoo/aquarium?
-What movie or book most "sucked you in" to it's story, in which you felt you were living the experience?

:woot:

Morree questions!

I don't know!! XD Why do I watch Wife Swap when I'm aware of how stupid it is? 😛 Mystical questions...

😛 He does that, that sneaky thing!

- Favorite comfort clothes:
Usually, it kinda overlaps with my sleep clothes 😛 I have my sweats from my university I wear around the apartment (I hate it when people wear them in public though! Grr.); they're a sort of forest-green with white lettering and amazingly comfortable. Somehow the fleeced didn't get all grungy inside.
Besides those, I have a couple pairs of super-soft plaid pj shorts I'll wear, various colored tank tops and/or t shirts, fuzzy spa socks, slippers, and my favorite old blue cardigan. Picture all this stuff lovingly over-worn and perhaps with a hole here or there 😛

- I LOVE the zoo. Weird as it sounds, it's one of my favorite places to go with old friends. Not as much a fan of the aquarium though; all of that water makes me...nervous. I've been to the aquarium in Seattle once and they had this whole underwater-dome area...*shiver*

- That's really tough to answer. When I was younger I read and re-read those memoir biographies by James Herriot about life as a vet in England...they're still some of my favorites. I identify so much with Herriot's outlook on life, and his descriptive language is just beautiful. Besides that he can be funny and sentimental without being sappy. I think I felt like I was living the experience/desperately WANTED to live the experience :bowing:

Did Holly Beara cooperate, or were you mauled? 😛

I'm still too scared to try 😛 Perhaps within the next couple of days! I got out a big old t shirt after you suggested it...brought within a few feet of her and she began giving me suspicious looks!

What is your career that you have planned out?

Language professor/possible linguist, teaching Russian and other languages here and/or in other countries. Specific and not specific, sorta 😛

HEY ECLIPSE!!!! ................hai :bubbly:

Now that I have your attention, question time. 😛

-What do YOU consider your best trait, and your worst fault?
-What was your favorite game growing up to play with friends?
-What was the last sweet thing that someone has done for you?

Rush
Yes
Genesis
Pure Reason Revolution
Porcupine Tree...

ESPECIALLY Porcupine Tree 😛
Not to sound like a hipster, but I've listened to them for about 3 years now, and am just noticing they're becoming more popular now (finally)

Rush and Genesis are my two biggies! 🙂

Yes is pretty cool, and I've actually never listened to Pure Reason Revolution. I think I've only listened to two songs by Porcupine Tree although I've been told by friends that I should like them.

With that said which Porcupine Tree album do you think I should start with?

KRAIZE

😀

Hokay.

- Best trait?
Hmmm. Telling that without sounding like an arrogant prick is always tough 😛

I guess it would have to be that I'm a kind person. People have told me many times that I'm more...worried about how other people feel and careful about other's feelings than the average person, and it's true. I would put my friends and family before my own interests any day, I like to find the good in people, and I just can't see the point of being a jerk 🙂 It's not bragging, it's just the truth 😛

- Worst trait?

Again, tough. Without this meaning any sort of sexual connection, I think I may be too submissive. I dislike confrontation greatly, and it's the kind of thing that makes people walk all over my. I've always hated it, but I just can't stand up for myself and I really wish I could. If I try to argue seriously, I end up flustered and angry at myself and the other people involved, and that never has solved anything for me.

- Favorite game as a kid

HMM.

Wellll. My oldest brothers and I used to play elaborate games with all of our plastic toy animals, electric train, stuffed animals, army men, and my old barbie dolls 😛 I can hardly remember how it went, but it was a sort of society of animals that all lived together in our room. We had all kinds of things happen -- missions downstairs for the armymen into the living room via plastic bag parachute, run away train/kidnapped barbies with the electric train, and a sort of funny power structure with my stuffed animals arranged into Kings, Queens, and classes.

That was my favorite, as bizarre as it sounds :hello:
If you're thinking generic...er...maybe monopoly? 😛 I would always conspire to get an entire row of deeds on our Boston Edition game.

- Last thing someone did for me that was sweet

OH. My dear friend of mine Shane brought me chocolate cake today 😛 Because it was the Monday after I'd had the flu. It was kind of...sad, because I was fasting for Yom Kippur and I couldn't eat it until the sun set. Sure was tempting, though

Pure Reason Revolution is big in Japan 😛 It's quality varies, though.

Start with In Abstentia. I always think it's crazy I'm one of the few women who listens to Porcupine Tree. Or at least from w hat I can tell :hysteriatrain:
I think there may be a lot of pretentious people who pretend to like it, however 😛 I, for one, was captivated when I heard "Trains"

Fantastic answers on all three questions! As for the game as a kid, my brother and I did the same thing. By the time the game was strung out all over the house, my mom would just look wide eyed and say, "you two know you're picking all this up don't you?" :jester: She never cared though cause it kept us busy for hours.

What's one skill/class you wish you were more proficient in then you are? What is another, that surprises people, that you are proficient in?

Did you know that adding a little bit of lemon juice to a bermuda onion takes the bite out of it?

Okay thanks for the recommendation! 🙂 I'm always amazed if when I hear that there are girls out there who like Prog Rock at all lol.

Can you fill in the next two lines in these lyrics?:

Play me old king cole,
That I may join with you

I already know that you like the Daily Show, but who is your favourite correspondent amongst the cast?

Hey, hey now 😛 It'll happen! I'm just a...coward? 😀

JOHN OLIVER
He's very very very very very funny. And his British accent is cute XD

I wish I was a better dancer. When it comes to the words "two left feet", that doesn't even begin to describe my problem 😛 I have done ballet for years and years and years, and I still fail miserably at it. I enjoy it a lot though, so that helps. Besides that, I can't modern-dance or even do basic steps for swing 😛 *sigh*

Oh, and what am I good at that surprises people? Repairing my own car 😛 My dad and my boyfriend when I was about 16 taught me how to fix things. I'm a short, pretty lightweight and un-imposing looking girl, so it seems to surprise people. The one thing I can NOT do is change a tire very well. I just don't have the strength.

A jolly good pick, guvnor! 😀

I miss Steve Carell 🙁 He and Mr. Oliver are my personal favourites. Carell flew straight into my heart after they got him drunk in one episode! :lover:
