They don't seem very big to me. I know what you mean with the colors too. That's why I'm working to get good with photoshop. Good luck with it though. Hope to see it soon.

however, b4 anyone says anything, i REFUSE to give Supergirl her new, more traditional suit that she now has on JLU. The blue suit is too vintage to me. The Paul Dini/Bruce Timm version of Supergirl is characterized as sort of a rebellious teenager, so the white tanktop suits her better as sumthing thrown together by a girl with the personality of "come on, Clark, quit coddling me! i'm not a kid anymore, i want a piece of the action too!"

Well I will give some updates. There is no more Batgirl, Batwoman is returning. (in a Batwoman Beyond type outfit)

Anyway though, Cassie did learn to speak, heck I have a book where her and robin talk about the loss of Spoiler. (Robin's one time girlfriend and Cassie's best friend) though in the end of the series she died, was brought back in a Lazarus pit and killed I beleive her mom Lady Shiva and now I think she's the new one. Oh yeah, Cassie did try on the old Batgirl outfit, she hated the heeled shoes, slipped and fell once. Also later the mouth area was torn off in a battle and she left it that way. That and I think Babs will never want to wear her suit again cause it could probably kill her now since Harley Quinn first stole it and paraded around Gotham in it for awhile. Then Poison Ivy donned it to save Harley from the Bat crew. She hated it and was glad to take it off then tossed it off a roof top. No one knows what happened to it since then.

On the hate of the white top Supergirl outfit. Plain and simple what donned it in the comics was nothing but a Lex Luthor created purple shape shifting, sex toy, clone pile of a goop. There were tons more too. The current look I enjoy though it has no red skirt only thing red are the boots. That and Black K Supergirl was ultra naughty and hot in her black number. (she showed up Flash big time, darted out before he could finish a sentence and then got him to run out onto the moon's surface and left them there)

I never really did like that thrown together off the rack outfit. I also thought she had a Gwen Stacy look. (You know where that gets yah)

Anyway right now there is no batgirl, Batwoman is hitting the scene in 52 (and yeah she's a lesbain and rumours say her and Montoya are gonna hook up) and Supergirl is in the bottle city and yet to done her costume, glad to see her in civvies, and also is hanging around Power Girl. (which I'm iffy on cause thought there powers went hay wire, know they never did with that fake around but a real one yeah)

Now me I woulda loved seeing Superboy show up in the JLU toon but knew it wouldn't happen. (still was stunned to see Speedy show up, first and only Titan to cross over)

Anyway, I am digging these, and always thought Kara looked cute in the bibs. Hope in the comics when finally gets out of the Bottle City we see her in more casuals. (hopefully a bib outfit like that too while helping out the Kents on the farm. She'll probably get Conner's room if that happens)

ah yes, i remember Spoiler. She became Robin for a couple issues b4 Batman fired her over ONE little mistake, which i thought was dumb of him.

yea, i know all about the weird goo version of Supergirl. She was introduced after DC revamped Superman and a lot of other comics after Crisis on Infinite Earths, where we saw the original Supergirl die. I'm just saying, i like the white tanktop version of her outfit BETTER than the new vintage version because it fits her character better as seen in the CARTOON.

Wouldn't put my finger on that.
Comic and toon chars get a lot of artist attention; it's tough claiming to be the first artist ever, when drawing a fan pic.
The plus side is, people are already familiar with the char, and they are more likely to click your thread, as opposed to brand new original chars, with no fame to speak of.

As an experiment of sort, try keeping track of traffic to famous-chars threads and to original-chars threads.
It's a good exercise in ad-effectiveness and word-of-mouth mechanics.

I know exactly what you mean. Hell I know I'm more likely to click on a famous character thread over an original character. I'm also usually more inspired to do fan pics as opposed to trying to create something of my own. I have done very few original things for this type of art. I think that's the main reason too. There's just more fan pics out there because it's easier than coming up with original ones. The only exception is the generic anime girls. Those seem to be popular no matter what.

You know, it's funny you mentioned that, because I was debating whether or not to keep that part in or change it. I really wanted to keep it, but I wondered if it would put people off. In the end I decided I really liked it and kept the playful mood of it over all. I'm glad you noticed it.
