Pokey, you might want to head over to Nascar.com and check the lead article before they change it. All about Michael's new racing team and the future of Toyota in the Cup Series, if you're interested.
I'd also recommend Frontstretch.com for anyone interested in a good but not terribly time consuming Nascar place.
AND we're at 25 days, 14 hours and 9 minutes.
....and just think, that's how long til the 500- the shoot out and Gatorade 150s are even sooner!

It has been said that perception is often reality and like you I shall perceive her humbleness as the Sitting Queen, with all honors due. I definitely bow to the knowledge from that Queen of Nascar, the resident twer.

Basically, a group of racing fans are looking to purchase the North Wilkesboro track to save it from anonymity and destruction. It seems like a fun and cool thing to be involved in, if, as Pokey points out, it's legit.

Well, as you know, I didn't see the earlier the earlier thread but I'll try to do better. In the meantime, I am enjoying the chat about going round and round. As for newcomers, beside Carl Edwards, I sure did like the way Reed Sorenson handled himself last year. I actually thought he might win a race but I bet he will before long, if he continues to get the good ride.

Meanwhile it looks as though Kentucky Speedway is being allowed to sue Nascar. This will be fun to watch, if it ever gets to court.

Kered, I love it when you talk that way. Saw DW on TV at the Seatle Football game talking about the upcoming Nascar year. He looks so inocent and he would run the wheels off anybody, given the chance.

Kentucky Speedway
I remember that those that had Kentucky Speedway built really had had some indication that they could get a race there. When it didn't happen they took the legal route, and I agree, LK that it will be interesting. I drove by there a year or so ago on my way to Evansville and it is really a pretty setting and facility.
Mikey and DW together could be really good. they really care about each other but like most siblings sometimes too close is not as good. Will be very fun two watch. I think LK as the "Queen of Nascar" (the resident twer) should be allowed to ride in the 500 pace car. Thoughts?

I once suggested a large RV in the infield of the race, with all our TMF friends together for the race. Party, friends, Nascar, and I would imagine a tickle or two. What a concept!!! LK, Iszabau, Mimi, and who know who else might like Nascar by then? Just about 3 weeks I think. You think we could hold up our end Kered?
