I LOVE ATLANTA....did I mention I LOVE ATLANTA!

It will not be JJ again. It will not be a Dodge. I do believe it will be young Carl Edwards in a reprise of his ohsocool victory here last year.

If it is JJ, I'm going to drive to Boyertown, PA and pick up slacker and then the two of us will continue on to Charlotte to wage a small sabotage campaign against Hendrick Motor Sports. I simply can't take too much more of this.

I will be home for the race this weekend and on aol as usual.

Well if the Royalty is meeting in Atlanta, you certainly need to put out a decree for your loyal subjects, Kered the Kered the wise, and Pokey the mentally challenged. Serously, I haven't read much about the damage that Atlanta had during the storms. I'm sure it has been fixed but it was pretty substantial and should start the activities tomorrow night. Won't be long before Kered will utter those famous DW words, once again.

I LOVE ATLANTA! I even have an itty bitty piece of Carl Edwards' tire from last year's cup victory. Yes, I'm a memorabilia *****...help me please.

hmph. me no likey. But didn't you call it, Pokester, with KK? Isn't Atlanta the track where Harvick got the victory in the Goodwrench car right after Big E died? As I recall, just nosing out that weenie Jeff Gordon? That was a glorious moment.

Yes, LK, that was a truly emotional race. I doubt that even the 24 had much problem with loosing to the 29 which replaced the 3 for the race. Well, KK got the poll and he is vry fast. We'll see if he can garner enough to be in the top 5 today, if they get to race. Weather doesn't look real good. Great side bar, Bill Lester, 23 car qualified for his first Cup race in Atlanta at #19. First African American to do so. Seems to be a pretty good guy and races good in the truck series. Another intereesting aspect to the Atlanta race.

You know, Atlanta is another great race town.

Back when we were talking about our favorite tracks, I really should have said Atlanta. Big wide speedway with three grooves, famous for close finishes..it's really awesome.

I hate rain.

I didn't get to see any of the race Nascar.com said that KK won the race. And, for LK, the 8 came in ahead of the 24. Martin 2nd was pretty good.
