Damsels in distress in TV, movies (and feet)

Mum And Dad (2008)

This is a very intense movie about a family that works at Heathrow airport. They not only steal luggage but also kidnap unattached foreign workers. Lena (Olga Fedori) is such a person. She is invited to the family's home, where she is hit on the head with a hammer then injected with something to put her out. She's given a second shot which prevents her speaking or screaming. She's suspended in a standing upper-half spreadeagle by leather cuffs around her wrists and ankles. Mum gets her fun from cutting the skin of her victims. The cuffs remain on throughout the movie. At one point Lena is shoved into a cloth suitcase and then beaten with a mallet. There is a brief scene in which we see Micaiah Dring secured to a bed with the same type of leather restraints. We see she has been cut repeatedly because of all the scars on her legs.

Adelheid und ihre Mörder 05x13

Near the end of this episode the main character Adelheid finds the cute model Manuela tied spreadangeled on the bed. She is gagged with a thick white piece of cloth.
In a "blink-and-you-miss-scene" the main character Adelheid (Evelyn Hamann) and a guy are standing in the bathroom with their hands bound behind their backs and cleave gagged with a white cloth. Nice mmphing.

The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (1939)

This is probably the version of the story in which Esmeralda spends the most time in bondage. O'Hara portrays her sitting with her hands tied behind her back throughout the trial, both before and after the torture scene, which is depicted in a wide shot from above in a rather non-explicit manner. At the end of the trial, the king visits the courtroom, and orders her untied so he can perform a trial by ordeal on her. He blindfolds her and asks her to choose between her alleged murder weapon and his dagger on a table before her. She touches her own knife, failing the test, and later is carted to the scaffold and mounts it with her hands tied behind her back, but they are untied when Quasimodo (Charles Laughton) swings down from above in the famous rescue scene.

Notre Dame de Paris aka The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1956)

Esmeralda is barefoot throughout the whole movie. The torture scene to make her confess is very explicit. She is taken to the torture chamber and made to sit on a bench. Her arms are strapped with a wide leather belt that is hanging from the ceiling. She is asked to confess and when she refused, the prosecutor orders the torturer to begin with "the boot". Esmeralda's naked left foot is placed inside the heavy duty vice (the boot), the torturer turns the wheel and the foot is squeezed until Esmeralda cries in pain for the torture to stop.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1982)

Down's Esmeralda is brought into the dungeon and seated on a stool with her hands shackled behind her for the torture scene, which is longer than in the other versions. She is carted to the scaffold with her hands tied behind her and secured to the tumbrel with a rope around her neck, as the crowd throws refuse at her. She is standing on a stool with the noose around her neck when Quasimodo (Anthony Hopkins) rescues her by fighting his way onto the scaffold and cutting the rope, then carrying her off over his shoulder into the cathedral as Lon Chaney did in the silent original.

The Hunchback (1997) aka The Hunchback of Notre Dame

The torture scene in this version of The Hunchback of Notre Dames probably the most explicit, with Hayek's bare foot shown in the vise as she lies shackled in an upper-half spreadeagle on a table. In another interesting twist, she is rescued twicefrom the scaffold, the first time in the standard rope-swinging manner by Quasimodo (Mandy Patinkin), the second by a band of peasants who march on the square.

Oh. Hell. Yes. Thank you for finally being successful at getting the bondage scenes from most of the film versions of Hunchback of Notre Dame. You are so freaking awesome.
 
12 Rounds (2009)

In this action packed movie starring WWE Wrestler John Cena, Cena plays officer Danny Fisher who is called in to assist the FBI in the apprehention of international Criminal Miles Jackson. During the capture, Jackson's girlfriend (Taylor Cole) is accidently killed. One year later Fisher becomes a detective and Jackson escapes from prison. Jackson abducts Fisher's girlfriend Molly Porter (Scott)and puts Fisher through a cat & mouse game of 12 Rounds in order to save Molly. Through out the movie. Molly is seen Bound & Gagged with Silver duct tape and is shown in several scenes in this predicament. Firstly she is shown close up in the back of a van, Secondly, a full body shot laying on a bed in a hotel room with wrists cable tied behind her & feet duct taped together. Thirdly, several Polariod photos of her gagged face are found in the hotel room when Fisher & FBI arrive to rescue her and Finally, a couple of quick close ups and a full body shot in the back of a fire engine about 10 minutes from the movies conclusion. Jackson releases Molly to fly a helicopter for his attempted escape. Fisher saves the day before the escape is made.

Alias 05x16

Agent Gibson (Nichols) is surprised at her apartment door by the villain Sark. He quickly grabs and chloroforms her.
The scene is *very* quick and very poorly shot (for our purposes). We only see her from behind and to the side, and she manages to go off screen for a second. But it does happen and may be worthwhile for some.
Scene occurs just after the 15 minute mark on DVD.
Later in the episode, Nichols is seen with her hands cuffed to the arms of a chair. She squirms around and manages to get the underwire out of her bra to pick the lock.
