There is a little something called the element of surprise.
Perhaps you've heard of it.
With all the activity going on at these Renfaires, it's hard to believe *every single woman* was caught off-guard, but for the sake of argument, we'll say they were.
It just wouldn't have the same effect if they were informed of their "fate" before they were put in the stocks. This mimics the historical bit they are parodying. (btw, never saw them use a Sonic Care. Just feathers, fingers, and brushes).
Just because someone isn't giving full disclosure doesn't mean they are "hiding behind their fetish" like some weirdo.
I think it would not only be creepier to explain every detail first, but it would sap the fun out of it as well.

They would not be fine with it!

Actually, I hate to break the usual internet convention of "anonymous = low-civility" here, but not only do I think you wouldn't make a fool of yourself, rhiannon, in fact, I think you're a well-spoken & articulate person, and I appreciate your position on this.

I'd go this far in agreement with you -- if a girl really did feel humiliated after such a video were posted, I'd sincerely hope anyone posting it would take it down, and I believe they'd have a moral obligation to do so.
