Do girls in renfaire clips know whats coming?

HOBBY MODEL?

Hobby model? Translation; A girl that doesn't get paid to take nude pictures... like I'm a hobby rocket scientist who doesn't have a rocket or lab.

You my dear are a blow hard, who refuses to keep to the topic. Why don't you start your own thread on scumbag clip producers, and stop being the old maid of the TMF!

Hobby model, Ha! I will pay 20 cents for a picture, so you may finally turn pro!

My friend, if you have no clue about the things I am talking about, better don't make any smart comments. You know the term TfP?

I'm not your friend...

Why don’t you get the the hint? Your forcing your obnoxiously strong will on everyone all the time. Start a thread of your own and don't high-jack this one!

As stated by you,
"If it bothers you so much, just put me on ignore!"

TFB......

You are seriously out of line. Why resort to personal attacks? It solves nothing. And this thread seriously needs to die now. No wonder I barely post here anymore. TMF drama is such bullshit.

My Hero

Nothing personal, If someone is going to constantly force their will on the rest of us. and pick on others as she has done to Misstoegoddess (to give you an example) along with many others, that person should develop a thick skin.

Now I have no issue with you, and no real issue with her, other than she ALWAYS PUSHES THE ISSUE. And also please note; It takes allot for me to post something here, but really does she always have to have the last word?

TOP DOG:

nenezinho directed his post directly to me, so why shouldn't I have answered? IMHO, that would have been impolite. Other than that, I had no intention to post in this thread again because it was getting old.

I just ask that we all please be careful. Name-calling is a big rule violation. I've had my issues with members in the past, but 9 times out of 10, I'm taking it to private messaging. Not to beat a dead horse or anything... I just hate seeing this kind of stuff.

?????

What name?

Adam, you seem like a Noble guy, but show me a name that I called her? I simply called out a laughable statement.

Forget about everything that is going on in this thread, and Just for a second close you eyes and think "Hobby Model" If you don't admit that that term didn't at least make you smile, your nose is growing.

Lastly if she isn't going to post in this thread any longer the my work is done.

TOP DOG:

Ps. Do you think the girls in those stocks know whats coming?

Too bad I wasn't going to post anymore before you showed that you have no clue about the photography-community....but now I might rethink that decision! :rainbow:

See....

See Adam,

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water!

More nonsense from the hobby model!

Over and out!

They are grown women, if they had a problem with it, they would ask to be released. They don't.

I've seen at least one clip where the girl says, "Don't tickle me". She's ignored. Splitting hairs, I suppose, but I would also expect any "prisoners" being asked to be set free to be brushed off as "all part of the show".

And common sense isn't all that common - especially when the leap of logic is such that they're expected to know that being put into the stocks is going to result in some tickle fetishist using a Sonicare on their feet for five or ten minutes. (Is it a historically accurate Sonicare?) I think it's unrealistic to expect people to go "aha! Stocks equal tickling!" - especially when, as Babbles notes, they're usually told about it after they're already locked up. I think any normal person would expect the wheel of feathers to be a prop - and it is, since I never see it being used in the clips.

Thing is, whenever this topic comes up, the people in favor of it never actually answer the question of "why aren't you telling the truth?" - they just dodge the question by pointing out how the victim (they think) isn't being hurt or is having a good time. But, that's not what I asked. So again, if there's nothing wrong with it, why hide your intentions? I've yet to actually hear someone say "I hide my intentions because..."

Some jerk decides to grab me or tickle when he doesn't know (or obviously doesn't care) if I like it, or if I feel like it ---
He's risking a broken face.

And one of our resident Bullies

so kindly re-illustrated just that Avoidance Response
immediately after you pointed it out!!! 🙄

They have no answer

except "I'm a selfish freak and the hell with what the unsuspecting victim wants."

Anyone complains --- we'll just make fun of them... Get the ignorant crowd to laugh... Distract them... Put more social pressure to comply....
Standard Bully Procedure.

Here's my answer:

I love non-con.
I love the element of surprise.
I am not going to jail because of it. Ever.
I have company. Lots of it.

It's up to you to decide if you'll ever get over it and just accept my preferences.
I don't see it happening.
You're much happier ranting, raving, and preaching.

Enjoy your misery, because you have miserably failed to persuade.

If you're talking about this clip:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/jgN5-xHmIZQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jgN5-xHmIZQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

That's a pretty poor example.
(This is one of my faves BTW)

OK, if feathers don't = tickling then I'm way off the mark.
It's a good thing you're an advocate for their ignorance.

I'll answer your question, Phineas (1/3 of the Freak Brothers).
There is a little something called the element of surprise.
Perhaps you've heard of it.
With all the activity going on at these Renfaires, it's hard to believe *every single woman* was caught off-guard, but for the sake of argument, we'll say they were.
It just wouldn't have the same effect if they were informed of their "fate" before they were put in the stocks. This mimics the historical bit they are parodying. (btw, never saw them use a Sonic Care. Just feathers, fingers, and brushes).
Just because someone isn't giving full disclosure doesn't mean they are "hiding behind their fetish" like some weirdo.
I think it would not only be creepier to explain every detail first, but it would sap the fun out of it as well.

You might not like my explanation, but that's how it works for me, and it's worked well.

Say "Hi" to Fat Freddy and Freewheelin' Franklin for me.

I told them to imagine that they were filmed at a public place while blowing up a balloon, and later they happen to find that very clip at a website for balloon fetishists. I asked them what they would do. They all said "I would sue them!".

Maybe they really did tell you this, I don't know... but I still don't believe anyone would actually do it.

You're expecting us to believe that if your friends were shown blowing up a balloon in the scenario you describe, they would literally call a lawyer, make an appointment, agree to shell out attorney's fees in advance, and devote many hours of personal time, potentially also taking time off work, to take someone to court? Really? Because they're that embarrassed that someone is watching them do something completely innocent, even if it's posted on a website with sexual overtones?

I just don't believe it.

Filming them naked without their knowledge? (Like the Erin Andrews case?) Yes, someone would likely sue for that.

Posting a video of them in public doing something innocent? No.

They all have law ensurance, and it is a pretty safe win-situation, so they might as well do it. 🙂

But even if they wouldn't, this isn't important for the discussion! The only thing important is: Would they be okay with it or not! Would they be "good sports" about it and just shrug it off, or would they be embarrassed, pissed, humiliated? The latter is the case, and that is all that counts here. They would not be fine with it!

Posting a video of them in public doing something innocent? No.

Keep in mind that it might look like they did pose as a fetish model knowingly for the fetish-site to others! That is the main problem here!

Again....

You and I can keep saying "Yes, they would," "No, they wouldn't,"... but it doesn't get us anywhere. I don't happen to believe it, and the more interesting question becomes what other people think.

But I'll leave you with this.... let's say you're right -- that most women would sue over this -- seems like we would already be seeing lots of lawsuits for the Renfaire videos that have already been released, right? After all, European tort laws, especially regarding defamation-related suits, are a lot more plaintiff-friendly than American.

Oh... wait, none of these women have sued....? Hmmm....

Well, at least this sounds like an enormous business opportunity then (if you're right). Some enterprising lawyer should go about finding any or all of the women in these clips, and they'll walk away with millions in commission, eh?

I wonder why this hasn't happened??? 🙂

Oh... wait, none of these women have sued....?

Probably because they most likely don't know that their clips are sold online as fetish material.

But even if they know and didn't sue because they don't want to go through the hassle as you indicated doesn't make this any more right! A lot of stuff that isn't right and legal never goes to court because the victim doesn't want to sue for one reason or another - that doesn't make what happened right or legal.

I wonder why this hasn't happened???

I don't think you are honestly asking this question, so I won't make a fool of myself honestly answering it! 🙂

I don't think you are honestly asking this question, so I won't make a fool of myself honestly answering it! 🙂

Actually, I hate to break the usual internet convention of "anonymous = low-civility" here, but not only do I think you wouldn't make a fool of yourself, rhiannon, in fact, I think you're a well-spoken & articulate person, and I appreciate your position on this.

I'd go this far in agreement with you -- if a girl really did feel humiliated after such a video were posted, I'd sincerely hope anyone posting it would take it down, and I believe they'd have a moral obligation to do so. No different than if the video were of her innocently playing beach volleyball in a bikini.

My disagreement is simply whether the majority of these girls who are laughing, having fun, and doing nothing sexual would likely care about a video being posted of their day at the RenFaire. Just in like the volleyball example, I believe the great majority wouldn't care, and on that we'll agree to disagree. 🙂

Just out of curiosity, you're not one of those people who asks permission on every single quick poke in the sides, are you?

Like say a guy is on a date, and it's going well.... when he's coming back from the bathroom, and she can't see him approaching, is he allowed to give her a quick test poke in her sides, or would you expect him to ask permission first? After all, that, according to some, would be a non-con outrage.

Actually no -- Putting someone in STOCKS -- immobilized tickling w/o consent -- Nope.

I can't answer for Rhiannon, though I agree, she's an articulate sweetheart ---

Like say a guy is on a date, and it's going well.... when he's coming back from the bathroom, and she can't see him approaching, is he allowed to give her a quick test poke in her sides, or would you expect him to ask permission first? After all, that, according to some, would be a non-con outrage.

IF you're thinking that applies to me, or most if not all others who protest serious tickling of the unaware ---- Not to be "uncivil," but --- Wrong. :illogical

HUGE difference between a playful poke on a date (that's a BONUS, are you KIDDING me???

--and being stuck
in stocks -- or tied to a bed, or a chair, pinned, grabbed, however immobilized ----

and hearing..."WELL, LET'S SEE, are ya TICKLISH?? --- OH you ARE, OK, FUN FOR ME!!! Who gives a crap what you want!!! I'm gonna tickle you
---- for any extended time --- however long *I want --- my choice of feet, sides, armpits, neck --- with no escape hatch ----

-- and guess what, it's also on video!! So you may never know, but the world can watch you go ape too!!" :hysteriatrain:

Even if you HATE the idea your bare feet & hysterical reactions are all over sexual/tickling fetish websites, Youtube, DailyMotion, whatever.... WELL, TOO BAD!!! ---- Again, wrong. :disgust:

Hobby Model.....Brotherted.....Hobby Model

Clearly you need to learn even more about online "civility" from Brotherted than I do... 🙄

If these videos were just posted on Youtube, I totally agree! But they are sold as fetish material! I think the majority would not approve of that!

Of course not! Tickling is a part of human interaction, that kind of tickle does not require permission! It happens to everybody and everybody does it, including me. No big deal at all. If someone makes it clear though that they do not like it and wish it to stop, that should be respected.
