I went to Vero Beach to the Dodgers spring training every year from1988 to 2008 (the last year before they moved it to Glendale, Arizona).

Nice. That's one thing I wouldn't mind is going to Florida in February to see baseball when it's cold here and warm there!

I would go there for five or six days of Spring Break week (which was always in March at Fordham).

My winter boots are still in the closet. Taking them out would jinx the streak of no snow, so they will stay in there until the first snow. 😀

His medical issue must be serious if two teams won't commit to a long-term contract. Supposedly his ankle may not hold up for more than a few years.

The ability of healthy young people to recover from an injury quickly is something that I envy. 😀

I am greatly enjoying retirement. 😀
I expect to work both the primary election in June and the general election in November. Hopefully, I will work for early voting as well both times.
