Nope. Nobody picked them. If you could go back to March 2023 to Las Vegas, you could get 500-1 on each of them to win the World Series. :rowfull:

Even more so if you could go back to March 1969. The Mets were 1,000 to 1 to win the World Series, which they did, hence the nickname "Miracle Mets."
 
Yeah I don't remember that but obviously I know about it. That was some year in New York between the Jets with Joe Namath and the Mets!
 
Yes, that happens fairly often, that the same city wins two or more of the major sports championships in the same year. (MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL)
 
1994 was the year the Rangers won the cup I believe and at the same time the Knicks were in the NBA finals. I remember as a kid that spring listening to sports talk and how excited everyone was.
 
2023 was the opposite for New York City, all of our local teams stink this year.

It's been crazy at work, extra drama. This weekend I think I want to rest...and like not do a lot. We have an extra hour this weekend too.
 
Yes, we go back to EST and the sunset comes at about 5pm. 🙁
 
On the bright side it won't be so dark in the AM when I get up lol.

Very true. Every minute of daylight lost in the evening is gained in the early morning of the next day.
 
I have to tell you Mils this change in weather definitely is making me dread the winter ahead...it's still early and it's still going to warm up again this weekend. But I really don't want winter to come lol.
 
I don't want winter either. Nobody can stop it, though. 🙁
