Dodgers won Mils...now I have to see who the Yankees will play.
 
I think it will be 2 good match ups. I have a feeling one NY team will win. I don't think we'll see a Subway Series this year. But I think one of them will get in.
 
I'm obviously rooting for the Yankees to be the one and only NYC team to get into the World Series this year. 😛
 
I figured you'd say that 🙂. Did you like the Subway Series in 2000? Did you care who won? It was definitely strange but once in a lifetime I had figured. But maybe not.
 
I didn't really care who won in 2000, but I root for the NL to win the World Series unless the putrid motherfucking hated jints bastards are in it.

I remember Jeter hitting a home run to lead off Game 1. They definitely were better than the Mets. This year I'm not as confident.
 
That's because the Mets are playing above their ability on paper. A team can do that for a week or so, long enough to win a World Series.
 
Yes they've played better than the Yankees for the 2nd half of the season. Anyway, let's see what happens in the ALCS and NLCS!
 
I am not optimistic about the games in CitiField with 40,000+ screaming Mets fanatics.
 
The Yankees have a better road record than home. I'm going to a Halloween Event about an hour away this evening. We went last year and it was fun. A haunted hayride, haunted houses, etc.
 
Have a good time at the Halloween event! It's 18 days before Halloween, but you may as well celebrate early. 👻 :witchy: 🎃
 
Oh we always do. My family grew up with Halloween being bigger than Christmas and as we got older we all kind of went back to that. Apple picking, Halloween Stuff, etc. I grew up near the legend of Sleepy Hollow so we were kind of taught for Halloween to be big. Luckily no Yankees game today.
 
You could have followed the Yankee game on your phone, but that's a poor substitute for watching it.
Growing up in New Jersey, the legend of Sleepy Hollow was rarely mentioned.
 
Yeah I know I went to school literally right near the famous tale so it's always a big thing in this area.
I know what you'll be watching!
 
No power in my building today so looks like I'll be working from home at least for the morning.
