Hangman Overdose on my days off sounds good to me Mils...
 
I was supposed to go to the city but with this disgusting weather all weekend we're going to stay local and go to an early dinner. Plenty of time to get out there when this not so nice winter ends eventually.
 
I don't blame you for staying in during the snow followed by rain that is our weather today.
 
At least it sounds like the storm they were hyping for later this week won't be a big one but still a chance for snow. After that? My phone is showing 40-45 every day for the last week of February. I'd sign up for that right now. The normal high temperature increases rapidly in March. If we can just be normal the rest of winter might not be as bad.
 
One can hope for normal temperatures through the first day of spring, but don't count on it. 😛
 
After yesterday's violent, intense rainstorm, I am also hoping for the best.
 
It's terrible out Mils the wind is nasty...I froze my a$$ off lol....I don't even wanna go out today but I am going to the mall and had to bring my car to fix something.
 
The fact we started St. Patrick's Day count in Holiday thread gives me some hope. Too cold this winter consistently.
 
I had to go out yesterday for my annual physical. I was almost blown over by a gale-force gust of wind. 🌬️
 
Glad you are ok...if you want to laugh watch Damian and me walking in the park in this with all ice everywhere and he's pulling me 20 degrees, windy, freezing cold, ice on the ground and this little 20-lb Boston Terrier with his coat on is going onward like it's nothing pulling this human adult who can barely function in this weather.
 
You're lucky is wasn't a 70-pound golden retriever pulling you. (My brother had just such a dog. When she didn't want to go into the car, it took two strong adults to wrap her in a blanket and carry her to the back seat while she was squirming.)
 
Well then I'd be on the ground probably. Rollins hated this weather. He would turn around as soon as I put him on the ground at the park and pull me back to the car before we started walking. I had to keep encouraging him. In that way they are very different.
 
I suspect that Sassie, the golden retriever I mentioned, hated going into the car because it usually meant a trip to the vet. She knew by experience that treatment at the vet would be somewhere between uncomfortable and painful.
 
I took Damian to the vet Monday...he loves going. He loves anywhere he can go to see people. It's funny he thinks everyone's his friends.
Mils I'm done with the cold just so you know...like it never warms up this winter.
 
Yes, most winters there is a January thaw where it goes up to the 50's every day for a week. Not this year. 🥶 :shivering:
 
My favorite weather guy said last night that this is the coldest winter in our area in 11 years. I believe that.
 
The good news...the warmup is coming Mils...I heard that we will have a cold first week of March but then things get back to normal and by then normal high temps by the middle part of March are closer to 50 degrees. Oh yeah and I heard that we have not had more than 2 days in a row with 40+ degrees this year yet...and this week we'll have like 5 or 6 straight.
 
I hope your trip to MA was ok and that you're enjoying your time with friends!
