Guinness here.

Closely followed by Heineken.

I must admit, the Red Stripe commercials have made me want to try it.

"HOORAY BEER"

I got 2:

Löwenbräu - Over the World Cup I have consumed vast amounts of this, funny enough the German club I pretty much live at in Sydney goes by the same name and has it on tap so its always good lol.

Bitburger is my other fav. I have cases of this at my house all the time chilled ready to be cracked open.

Kust

i dont drink anymore, but my beer of choice was bud light, or mickey's malt liquor. or budweiser, natural light, miller lite, lone star, bud dry, natural ice, schlitz, i think thats it, or that i remember, those were good times.

I tried Guinness once, I thought it would be great. I'm Irish, Irish people are supposed to love this stuff.

It was the thickest, grossest shit I have ever tasted. It tasted like a frick'n forrest.

Literally.

Around coming of legal age I drank Stroh's before they went national and started their downhill slide. Now my beer is Miller Genuine Draft.

On the very rare occasions I enjoy a beer, I drink either Dos, or Corona.

In my younger days I drank way too much Olde English (a 40!)

But like I said I rarely ever drink anymore, maybe once every 3 or 4 months.

Rob

I'm a corona drinker, i'm also partial to the odd bottle of bud

I don't really like the bitter, hoppy taste of most beer. One beer I really do like is Lindeman Peach Lambic, which is an unhopped belgian beer fermented with fruit.

I also like Tsing Tao, which is a very light Chinese beer.

Honey Brown... out of a barrell please.

But in a pinch I'm a big fan of Sam Adams Light.

I'm not much of a beer drinker, being more partial to tequila and Scotch whiskey, but....

First off, there are very few North American beers I can stand. There's just something different about the way beer is made in Europe, and the Germans here can attest to the strict standards many European countries hold what can even be called beer to. Up here near the Canadian border, everybody seems to be addicted to Labbatt's. I shit you not, you could not give me money to choke that shit down. Tastes like malted battery acid.

The only American beer that I occasionally get in the mood for is the original Miller High Life. And the only North American beer that I really do like is Mexico's Dos Equis Green Label.

As far as my favorite beer, I have to go with one that no one has mentioned, and I'm surprised. Stella Artois. I absolutely love that stuff. Crisp, clean, nice taste, great kick and no aftertaste whatsoever. You drink it and it's gone. Other beers that rank at the top of my list are St. Pauli Girl, Beck's and Japan's Sapporo.

:triangle:

"Mellow-out" beers: Widmer Hefewiessen, Bass Ale (good for after work on Fridays; good "starter" beers...lol)
"Party" beer: Guinness. (Too smooth to drink just one. 😀 )

Coming from Bavaria, I naturally love our native beer. After all, there's a law for beer purity in Bavaria that goes back to 1516! My favorite brands are Augustiner Edelstoff and Erdinger Weissbier. Sorry, but the American beer or that swill from Mexico always makes be sick. Allergic to the chemicals in it, I'm afraid...

BTW, did you know that the Egyptians really invented beer? They even built the first beer cellars to keep the stuff cool. We call them Beeramids... :triangle: (ouch! no, stop throwing those eggs!)
